How Neptune helps Saturn Manifest

A mind-blowing concept being repeated in the current era serves as the ultimate source of empowerment and font of all creative manifestation:

The statement [one source being Eckhart Tolle]

THERE IS NO EXTERNAL REALITY

This means

What we experience is totally an internal experience.

That the world of form is just a personal individualised/customised mental construct.

This means we do not have a physical body and nothing is truly existing in a form state.

We are just a creative consciousness dreaming up those appearances and qualities of solidity.

In this context the Saturn-Neptune dynamic can be understood as consciousness [Neptune] being utilised to structure [Saturn] the illusion [Neptune] of form [Saturn]

This is the game we play in the process of evolving our consciousness

Every person every relationship we experience

All world events

All personal life experiences

Every sensory experience

ALL of it is a unique individual and personally constructed creation derived from our state of consciousness - and what we need to experience in order to learn.

Our life and all lives lived are more equivalent to a play or movie or story in a book that we personally have written and where we act out roles and have experiences.

We manifest challenges and situations that encourage the learning of important lessons about goodness. [Buddhists call this right thought right action ]

We each get to live a variety lives that offer many different perspectives -male female rich poor powerful weak white black happy sad well sick…every possibility a source of gold to mine for meaning and learning

Why?

So we can through ethical choices evolve spiritually.

This concept of reality means none of my family or friends or neighbours or movie stars or singers or politicians in my life experience have an independent existence.

Everyone I have experienced is a character designed by me for me.

Whenever any of my creations interact or communicate with me it is based on the script I have written.

We have immense manifesting powers when embedded in this reality. The only obstacle is not knowing we have that capacity.

And the hardest aspect is wondering why we choose to create people we will struggle to love. People who offend or abuse us or simply annoy us.

Why?

So we can confront our simplistic judgements and accept that the bigger story in the human experience is one of working to evolve and rise above each challenge - keeping in mind that we are all flawed.

The process of a change in consciousness begins with self forgiveness as our accumulated lives hold the good the bad and the ugly - much of which is repressed - but hints of behaviours that hold shame or regret do leak through - sometimes projected onto others with a strong negative emotional weight - such as anger towards those who cheat or kill or abuse their power. The amount of anger in the reaction towards certain types of harmful actions is a likely clue to the hidden personal resonance around such behaviour.

So we have to dig into our own psyche and find those moral flaws instead of focussing on rejecting external examples.

The 3 step process in preparation for spiritual progress involves:

  1. Self integration - embracing all the life characters we are made of - all those who have made errors - accepting the mistakes made as part of learning. Welcoming all parts of us into our whole with love and grace.
  2. Recognising self integration as an act of Redemption.
  3. Recognising self integration and redemption as the foundation of Freedom.

In this context channel Anne Tucker points to integration as a signifier that personal karma is resolved.

Let Your Ego Die so You Can Live

The myth of the healthy ego was created by an unhealthy ego and has been sustained by unhealthy egos –unavoidably -  because Ego is an unhealthy mental disposition derived from a competitive survival instinct.

In our human existence we feel a compulsion to survive –to breathe, eat, sleep in order to pursue the life that we have emerged into but something else happens when we become alive in human form in a physical construction in a material world - we are faced with having to function in an environment that is unreal, merely a surface layer and in a form that is not who we truly are – and this has mental and emotional consequences in varying degrees from minimal to extreme in each of us.

Our truth is that we are not separate beings, we simply manifest as such in this world in order to discover that truth and we have been trying to learn this for thousands of years. Our origin is simply consciousness without form and that awareness is a collective energy field that operates in a different domain, a different dimension with a higher frequency. Our truth is where there is no labelling because there is no differentiation, it is oneness.

Being manifested out of that origin and into the world we know creates a different level of consciousness that is termed ignorance and unconsciousness and the challenge for each of us is to return to greater consciousness while still living in the everyday world.

This is where Ego needs to be recognised and understood because when Ego is in control of your thoughts and emotions you cannot achieve a higher consciousness. Fortunately it is easy to start this process: just begin to watch your own mind and your own behaviour and quickly you will also see Ego displayed in others.

The Ego is a survivalist strategy born out of the immense shock that arises to be manifested out of oneness and into a physically separate body during worldly existence. The transition period – gestation in the womb – involves being attached just to your mother. Once the cord is cut you face life as a physically separated being whose mission is to transcend through your consciousness that appearance of aloneness and separation – since in the bigger picture you are not separate or alone at all.

But who teaches us that? All the great spiritual masters over thousands of years have delivered this message but ignorance still clouds the interpretation and comprehension of their truth. The Ego particularly is not interested in the scenario of a connected oneness because it that is in complete contradiction of everything that feeds the Ego.

In our human discomfort due to thinking we are separate and thinking in categories and labels, races, classes, cultures, genders the mental constructs surrounding all these differences and distinctions are the breeding ground for competitive, diversive, conflicting and ultimately destructive and annihilating urges.
This process reveals the activity of the Ego at its most fundamental level –seeing others as competition, different, dangerous. In other words a threat, a source of anxiety.
To varying degrees living as a human is inherently a period of mental illness due to the fear and ultimately paranoia that builds in the mind when a person subconsciously believes they are disconnected. Most definitely there is unease, discontent, unhappiness, frustration at the conscious level in many humans but that can intensify if the disconnection is more severe, into murderous acts, mass killing and a range of antisocial criminal behaviours where there is no insight or awareness of what led to those acts.

Those humans who do feel more connected are easily more attuned to the natural world, more respectful of life and other beings. Others show strongly a greater propensity towards the sort of behaviour that snuffs out life. Through thousands of years it has been primarily those in male form who show greater disconnection but unless the present trajectory is altered, more humans in female form will follow this life-opposing disposition.

In the era of the Selfie we are not witnessing an upsurge in confident happy people. We are witnessing more Ego, more display of “look how beautiful/sexy/successful/rich/happy/influential I am – in general more “look at me” and the rise in body alterations from botox to butt lifts to extreme workouts says the same thing. More desire to be better than, to inflate an underlying deflated sense of self.
The pathways followed by Ego are mentally unhealthy because there is an inclination to become progressively more extreme when one fix after another –just like a drug –fails to satisfy that deep yearning for connection. You can never find what you are looking for if you are looking in the wrong place: most definitely the world of form with its experiences of loss and change is not where that search for connection is fulfilled. Only by accessing the sensation and the knowing that we are not inherently physical, that our body is just an outer layer, a vehicle that is inhabited by energy –not a personal energy but a shared collective energy we are all tapped into but mostly unknown, undetected – only by knowing this can we wake up from our sleep-life and remember we are connected to everyone, everything.

Until then your Ego has full control of your mind but it will die gradually once you start watching it perform all the tactics and tricks used to get attention [which means pull energy from or control others ] –fame and notoriety are the same in Ego terms because both make you Somebody in your own mind. Even ill health, disease and disability can be hijacked by the Ego to command a lot of attention and control. Your sad life story can also be continually recited to try to inflate your significance.
It’s all pointless and best abandoned in view of the larger context of who you truly are. Each life is incredibly short and nothing more than consciousness is left when you disintegrate. You have the opportunity to tap into this consciousness before that occurs. This is not only of personal benefit but will spill over to benefit every person, animal, living plant you interact with while you are still in human form –  overall your higher consciousness has literally universal benefit – the whole of creation.

So choosing to disable your Ego is the kindest most compassionate act you can offer this world - and it simply begins with seeing it perform because that observer is your higher consciousness being brought to the surface.

It may shock you to record how many instances of Ego you enact every day when interacting with others.
Social media is a popular device for self-inflation. Fishing for compliments re your clothing and appearance is a vintage tactic. Talking about your problems, moaning and complaining all fit the Ego’s needs. Even arguing in order to win people over is a weakness of the Ego in its attempts to feel empowered. None of these deliver any lasting benefits: they are as useful as a hit of sugar.

To extract yourself from this addictive mental pattern means to witness and observe yourself and others closely and requires alert focus or simply being fully present. The more we multitask or converse without listening or drive without focussing or walk into a room and ask “What did I come in here for?” we show that we have shifted away from the reality of the present and allowed our Ego dominated mind to operate us like some remote controlled device. Learning how to focus just on each task, each person with full attention pulls the mind back to the only real existing input – anything else is a mental distraction regarding what has already happened/been said or what might happen/be said in the future – neither exist and by distracting your mental attention with past and future you miss whatever life opportunity is being presented to you immediately in the moment. You may discover that each of those moments is a precious opportunity – or you can choose to keep missing them because you cannot see the reason, the actual significance.

Living life with your Ego disabled opens up much greater depth of calm and contentment. The discovery of paradoxes like this is a joyful experience: knowing that we have misled ourselves terribly in our fearful attempts to adapt to the physical world – and yet it can be undone, our illusions and delusions and ignorant ways can be abandoned. We can live in the world but be not of it – as recommended by one of the masters of wisdom. The question is when will you reach enough suffering to decide that there is that other way.
It has been said that the Meek will inherit the Earth. Who are the Meek? The Meek are those who function in the world without Ego, whose contributions are for the collective good not for personal acclaim.

From an astrological perspective the two main axes of the chart reflect this distinction between outer Ego-based personality -which is the Ascendant or rising sign being on the horizontal plane and the other dimensional aspect of being which is reflected in the Midheaven sign which is on the vertical plane. By examining your birth chart you may see how this expresses or is yet to express if you have not yet accessed fully the potential of your midheaven sign - which often is connected not simply to the worldly possibilities of career or public life, but also to vocation, which means "calling" - the deepest urge from within to express your true essence in this lifetime. This is where your Ego-less contribution can be described and pursued through paths which match that astrological energy.

These thoughts are distilled from the writings of  Eckhart Tolle in addition to Buddhist philosophy and personal cross-disciplinary enquiry over recent decades

Every Moment Changes. Why?

A moment frozen in time
Every Moment Changes. Stop a moment and take note. Even if you are in an isolation chamber with extreme reduction in sensory information, there will be indicators of continual change in every moment. Even if your heart beat and your breathing remain apparently constant to your perceptions, your mind will struggle to maintain any length of focus. Your body is engaged in constantly changing processes, mainly beyond your awareness, until a pain, a pressure, an itch, a pleasure arises. Every moment changes.
In your daily world if you pause while immersed in everyday input, you can observe the run of conversation or audio sound, the variations in the breeze, the random dog barking, birds in motion, traffic and how from moment to moment one or another rises then subsides providing a morphing soup of sounds and visions
I know of only two explanations that work in terms of explaining why every moment is different from all others. One is Buddhist philosophy, with karma being the determining cause of all conditions arising and dissolving. The other is astrology -  and the two perspectives have much in common.
Astrology is a language for the interpretation of energetic patterns which are identified at the time of a person's birth. Karma is the sum of conditions that relate to a person at each moment in time and at the point of birth can be identified in a person's astrological birth chart.
Karma changes continually, as does the birth chart - since the planetary energies are in constant cycles with perpetual variability in relationship to each other. An astrological analysis made at any point in a person's life identifies what changes exist at that point in relationship to the original astrological or karmic template pictured at the start of life as a separate being, i.e. birth. Astrology can also look at pre-birth conditions from the conception phase and during gestation to look at (karmic) imprints received via the mother and her experiences. Fascinating stuff.  Yet so few on this earth have the blessing (karma) of understanding the depth and capacity of astrology to provide self understanding and that of others.
The other Buddhist concept ignorance prevails in terms of how astrology has been denigrated, misunderstood and maligned - largely via misinformation through media sources and where far more emphasis is given to pop astrology - where simplistic or fun readings are made into a weekly column.
The use of astrological knowledge is more likely than not to have been a universal human practice since ancient times and in western culture the most dramatic shift occurred when Christianity first absorbed then rejected any ancient knowledge of this type which could be seen to challenge or threaten the Church. Centuries of this type of thinking have sidelined astrology in the West, while Eastern and tribal cultures are likely to maintain their practices.

The merging of East and West is a phenomenon in process on many levels in this age, as an important method of balancing. The more that westerners can embrace ancient & Eastern philosophies, the greater wholeness of mind and spirit can be achieved. It is a two way process as well, with western influences spreading across the globe.

The Holographic Mind as a Reality Template

One of the most significant books contributing to my concept of the nature of reality was The Holographic Universe, by Michael Talbot, first encountered in the late 1980's.
Here is a related description posted online by Talbot
With its clear explanations this book encompasses not only the way quantum physics explains so much of our world, but also covers the stuff on the fringes that most people fear and shy away from: a holographic model explains how everything from the concepts of planetary influences to psychic and paranormal phenomena are part of the fabric of reality. This is a truly holistic vision, and once you have grasped what a hologram is, you will have a beginning concept of how this might apply to absolutely everything in existence.

As a simple example, from the link above, when comparing a printed photograph to a hologram, Talbot explains:
every part of a hologram contains all the information possessed by the whole
and this example by itself encapsulates the holographic model of reality he discusses.
Holography links perfectly with the philosophy of Buddhism, which proposes there is no separation, we are all connected, part of one whole existence, perception of separation is an illusion and to hold a belief of being separate or distinct from other people, creatures and things is as strange as believing that your own hand or leg is not part of you. Most of us only enter the connected world during sleep time. Meditators can do this during hours of usual wakeness and those involved in perpetual spiritual practice would operate naturally on the universally connected level. Clearly something about the way in which the everyday awake mind processes information (most probably light itself) creates the false sense of distinction, separateness and difference. This perception is then employed to artificially categorise all things into such boxes as animal, vegetable, mineral, caucasian, negroid, asian, polynesian, dog, cat, budgie, horse  and so on into incredible sub-categories, sub-species, on and on. These perceptions make life fun for those who love lists but they are the basis of hatred, war, rejection, grief, pain, insecurity and conversely, the absence of compassion, empathy, love, bliss, security. You can only hate and reject The Other if you hate and reject yourself, as they are the same. Being able to conceive everyone is me ( a reflection of me, an aspect of me) means you cannot hate or reject another person without simultaneously hating and rejecting a part of yourself. The solution to this conundrum is healing through, self compassion, often called forgiveness, because the world you encounter, being holographic in nature, will continually feed back to you, like in an endless hall of mirrors, your range of internal personae or traits, manifested as other people.  In everyday terms we hear: Clean up your own back yard, instead of moaning about the neighbour's rubbish pile. It is only by totally honest self confrontation can you hope to alter your holographic footprint and generate feedback which nurtures you and lessens suffering. Without breaking the cycle the feedback loop creates what most would recognise as an experience of hell on earth, a living nightmare of continual repeats or themes.
Though Christianity has been corrupted by many for their own empowerment, the basic tenants relating to behaviour and redemption relate to universal truths. In this way many people have known healing through the church, but it is not necessary, or even sensible, to invest ultimate power in a figurehead as the controller of a person's life. A teacher is a teacher, a channel of information. The task for the student is to utilise the information, not worship the messenger, because such idolatry is an act of separation: the god is within.

Talbot says:
At its deeper level reality is a sort of superhologram in which the past, present, and future all exist simultaneously.
