The End of the Earth Era:

 What Wrecked our Homes?

The energy patterns that have globally produced the degeneration in construction quality affecting homes commercial buildings and construction in general have roots in the modern era as far back as the most recent conjunctions of Saturn and Neptune then Uranus and Neptune - with all three planets involved being in Capricorn.

The building and construction trades have a Capricorn resonance and with the Capricorn planet Saturn.

Uranus is the maverick energy - uncomfortable in fields ruled by regulations and standards. Uranus encourages people to buck the system.

Neptune is a moisture inducing energy and is associated with rot mould poor workmanship poor quality materials and deceptive or devious practices.

In 1989 Saturn and Neptune converged in Capricorn three times and set the ball rolling regarding all possible defects deceits and degenerative outcomes relating to home building and construction in general -not only across the Western world from Europe to the Americas and the Southern hemisphere - but also likely to have been a global and collective failure of human behaviour - induced by forces few will have anticipated.

In 1993 the wave of destruction imprinted by practices beginning since 1989 was compounded by 3 conjunctions of Uranus and Neptune in Capricorn. This killer blow added the “cowboy” and rogue developers and builders into the mix already set to be plagued by defective materials poor planning poor design and failure to comply with regulations.

The home building sector also faced rising costs of materials as well as a shortage of skilled labour. 

Effectively through human agency an awful chapter of ruin has been written into our collective history - involving one of the most precious and valued assets and provisions needed for a secure and comfortable existence: shelter. No surprise that actual homelessness - brought on by related societal factors involving greed and profit and political policies - has spiralled into a crisis.

Saturn’s subsequent transit through Aquarius 1991-1994 and Pisces 1994-1996 - while Uranus and Neptune stayed closely converged in Capricorn - created a double-whammy effect - a sort of Black Hole of no escape from defective and anarchic practices already carrying a huge momentum.

Neptune lingered in Capricorn until late 1998. By then huge damage was integrated into the construction trades.

As if in a coordinated attack on the world of form [ arguably from a spiritual perspective it is ]  

Saturn entered Taurus in 1999 as a new millennium gift still in effect as the 21st century was celebrated then finishing up in Taurus in April 2001.

The May 2000 conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in Taurus is regarded as a last gasp fling of material world indulgence able to be indulged in for the 20 year time frame until the new Jupiter Saturn cycle arose in December 2020 - and so a lot of money was made from big assets and developments and few would have believed that the problems coming to light affecting homes and the larger industry would be enduring a lot longer -as they have.

New Zealand has the dubious distinction of being a standout disaster zone re leaky homes and buildings . The timeframe late 1980s to early 2000s is quoted online with the peak period of defective construction cited as 1994-2004.  This is consistent with the planetary signifiers presented in this report.

 Perhaps many hoped the plague on our houses would be remedied- but...

Pluto entering Capricorn early 2008 -  had other ideas -with some hazardous potentials capable of bringing construction to its knees and affected homeowners to despair and bankruptcy.

The combined influences in a focal mission to undermine the sectors resonant with Capricorn had been sustained in this modern era since 1989 and by 2008 the signal was more was to come.

Failures within the building and construction industries have a human agency but since the massive tsunami of 2011 devastating parts of Japan and earthquakes of high significance beginning late 2010 in New Zealand -it has been clear that the most powerful agent of destruction involving homes and public buildings is the Earth herself harnessing immense solar system forces to disperse water wind fire and upheaval.

In 2015-2016 Pluto in Capricorn’s destructive potentials within the building trades were aggravated by stress from Uranus in Aries -rogue self-serving small operators as well as in the larger scale company sector

In late 2017 Saturn was back in Capricorn. A comfotable position if not aggravated by an incompatible planet bringing adversity. 

In 2018 Uranus entering Taurus signalled a problem due to changes taking hold in costs and values related to the construction industry as well as materials supply chain disruption.

By the start of 2020 Jupiter was newly in Capricorn -joining Saturn and Pluto already in that field of influence. With Uranus in Taurus there were 4 planets in the physical-material Earth signs but Saturn Pluto and Uranus with their high capacity for problems were able to somewhat override any possible benefits from fortune-bringer Jupiter in Capricorn. Some would have done well in the pandemic era as is always the case in disaster capitalism.

By the start of 2021 only Uranus in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn remained with their capacity to sustain construction and building issues and defects.

The end of the age of extensive physical material glory was signalled in 2000. Pluto completed its relevant transit in late 2024. Uranus completes the Taurus transit in April 2026 but what was set in motion since 1989 comprises a larger picture of an era of physical material decline evident not only in housing and buildings and local environments -but also in the fact of living on a planet that itself is undergoing increasing and intensified physical structural changes.

The era we are in now is non-physical. It is the Air era lasting approximately 200 years so everyone alive in 2025 and beyond will eventually live out their days in a much less material physical world in terms of what is being created for our daily existence.

Many modern era constructions are seemingly designed to rapidly deteriorate and fail  - consistent with a larger plan most are unaware of. 

I am personally confronted due to living in a building with multiple signs of deterioration leaks and poor design since construction in the 2002-2004 period - along with a failure to install or theft of wall and ceiling insulation by those tasked with installing it.

By late 2025 the consequences of the patterns involved remain imprinted in the creations constructed as dwellings and public or commercial buildings since the end of the 1980s and even heritage buildings are impacted due to their existence during the same stress period. Some face demolition due to the cost of meeting safety regulations or earthquake codes. The picture is enlarged when factoring the loss of dwellings and buildings in war zones -Palestine and Ukraine being subject to severe to extreme destruction. En masse the issue is systemic and annihilating and global.

Of the 4 outer planets only:

Saturn [2028-2030] and Neptune [2038-2052 ] 

occupy an Earth sign -Taurus -promising a far less physical material existence for those born since 2000.

Given that shelter is a necessity what this means for homes and buildings that have to replace the current versions is hard to imagine. 

I do know of a Native American belief that says there is only power in round not square. Perhaps we will live in domes.

Typically there is no single planet or cycle resonant with major events but any standout factor/s are worth pinpointing. Outer transits and cycles accompanying an observed cycle will always be worth tracking to assess their contributions.

Essentially the message is: how do we utilize Saturn to be in the world – while being “not of it” – how to walk both paths how to find the balance?

This problem plagues humanity and so periodically Neptune shows up to give Saturn a tap on the shoulder. Uranus tends to play for both sides when a standoff arises – sometimes in support of Saturn other times in rebellion.

In this list the main transits are 2 oppositions one conjunction and one square but the so-called minor aspects are definitely part of the processes bewteen these two planets.


Prior Saturn-Neptune oppositions within the past century were 1936-1937.

Squares occur more often – around every 16-18 years and include 1944-1945 and 2033-2034,

Conjunctions arise around 36 year periods, Sequences of 3 conjunctions also arose in 1846 and 1952-1953, The next is early in 2026.

Early 1920s Europe hyperinflation [Germany] was preceded by Oct 1921 Saturn semisquare Neptune and Uranus trined by Pluto [URA PIS - PLU CAN]

January 2023 had the applying semisextile SAT AQU to NEP PIS

In this era the cost of human warfare along with the huge expense

of the natural warfare of extreme climate events

[especially flooding with the Pisces emphasis]

These events may by 2026 bring some resonance with the WW1 era

After Uranus in Pisces [1835-1844] was soon followed by Neptune in Pisces [1847-1862] Jupiter was in Pisces with Neptune from 1856-1857.
