Profiling: The Radical Shift in NZ Politics

A radical shift in New Zealand politics is underway

 under the influence of the

 October 2017 New Moon

Under the MMP political system the minor party NZ First reached the position after the September 23 election, to negotiate a coalition deal with either the Right or Left party.

On October 19 NZ First leader Winston Peters announced that he had chosen to partner with the left bloc led by Labour.

With Labour already married to the Green Party, this then became a union of 3 political entities.

Labour Leader Jacinda Ardern takes the role of Prime Minister and other roles will be announced in due course.

The astrological factors bringing about this combination have been profiled in prior posts

The indicators assessed by the author in late August-early September 2017 pointed to both a much more workable relationship between Ardern and Peters and that Ardern had the right stuff to pull off another meteoric leap in her political career.

Those conclusions were verified on October 19.
Of course Labour and its partners will not use the word "radical" but the consequences of this era of change are likely to be very distinctive.

An historic day in New Zealand politics, the implications of which become evident looking at the astrological picture at the time Winston Peters delivered the decision made by NZ First.

The chart below at 7pm indicates the energy at that time [carrying through the energy of the recent past - the gestation phase -and the significant themes embedded in that time and therefore unfolding ahead - and so functions just like a personal birth chart which captures the prebirth, birth moment and lifetime.

• Pluto the great force for transformation provides the most significant themes: that this government has the opportunity to bring in reforms of our political system, how politics and politicians work, how politicians connect to the public at large, the political impacts on families and women in particular. The banking and financial sectors are also set for reforms under the effects of this indicator 
• The radical shift encapsulated was reflected back by Winston Peters in his coalition speech: this government rejects the devastation faced by many citizens and many communities wrought by the free-market neoliberal economic model: policies agreed on will rebuild a more caring society for New Zealand

Aries profile: Paula Bennett

As Aries as you can get could be a descriptor for NZ MP and leadership aspirant Paula Bennett.

What would she enjoy on her birthday? 

Red meat, lots of blood, some bling, a nice argument and the promise of a few heads to roll

With a birthdate of April 9 1969 Ms Bennett has Sun, Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Chiron  -a good chunk of the solar system -all positioned in the fire sign Aries, the first zodiac sign, whose mission is fundamentally self preservation - and the goal of fearless independence is inherent. However, as with all zodiac signs, the tendency to flip into the polarity sign's modus operandi is common.

Extremely combative and competitive. Her most famous one-liner may be the abrupt Westie call to "Zip it, sweetie" -addressed to the rather genteel Jacinda Ardern in NZ Parliament. Perhaps the leopard prints and edgy style of West Auckland's Outrageous Fortune had become embedded.

The Libra side indulges in the classic feminized artefacts - make-overs, makeup, hair and fashion -but it's not easy to fool many with the amount of military grade machinery that lies beneath.

From a humanitarian perspective there is little to nothing to recommend Paula Bennett as a welfare minister -as she was for a considerable period and unsurprisingly overseeing some cut-throat [Aries speciality] policies. She does have the ability to promote heartless austerity [Saturn-Neptune] - and so was a suitable political choice.

With Mars in Sagittarius -more fire! -a lot of energy goes into travel and a lot of extra fuel to boost the typical Aries confidence levels.

People have perceived fellow minister Judith Collins as Thatcherite - but Bennett has much more in common when astro profiling is done [Collins profile; Thatcher profile]
Having said that, the horrors New Zealand will face can be imagined if Wellington University's computer prediction system continues to place Bennett as next in line to John Key and if the NATs resume power.

But it's not all smooth sailing for Paula Bennett
It never has been - according to the signifiers.

Sudden changes and upsets in relationships, alliances, partnerships.

Yes it is possible that this does coincide with promotion within the party ranks.

Deputy PM then is sought by Bennett and Simon Bridges with Bennett looking early on to gain this foothold on the prize.

Kevin Hague or James Shaw - NZ Greens consider

With the resignation of Russel Norman on January 30 2015 as NZ Greens co-leader the door is open for a new encumbant, expected to be another male as co-leader.

Comparing what is known of the energy templates for two possible candidates gives a preview of who might be a more successful candidate in the longer term picture.

Kevin Hague's name was mentioned by news media almost in the same breath as the Norman announcement,  followed by James Shaw, both men currently within the ranks and with good profiles as Green Party List MP's.
What can be explored in the energy on the day each man was born.
This is the imprint each received and though not able to be further refined by knowledge of either man's exact time of birth, some standout features will be obvious.

Both of these men have relevant strengths - so a look ahead may distinguish whose fortunes are set to rise.

There are two major influences impacting his career ambitions from early 2015 and right through to 2018.

Judith Collins has reached a nadir in her political empowerment and is showing clear signs of not coping with the sustained inability to function in her role under Covid pandemic conditions which have impacted New Zealand at every level since 28 February 2020.

From an astrological perspective she is under significant energetic stress from 2 influences which have begun to converge - together delivering a significant sense of disempowerment. 

Physical health consequences are a significant risk for her in September-October 2021 if her level of mental stress is not resolved.

The USGS map and data list shows a seismic battering going on in the South Pacific, in a region known for a lot of activity.

For the past month the Kermadec Islands region has had multiple events over M5.0, the largest M7.6 on July 6, the latest July 21 M5.0,
Samoa, Fiji, Tonga  feature on the list with the latter two oceanic zones being very frequent along with the Kermadec region. -see data list

The regional activity at the July 6 Kermadec event - shown in close-up view below -source USGS

In this highly seismicly active region, with the plate boundaries accompanied by the Solomons Trench,
New Hebrides Trenches, Tonga Trench, Kermadecs Trench -  a huge area of connected territories are involved, right down to New Zealand.

As a side note, Alaska also has a strong seismic profile being part of the Ring of Fire and recent ( back from July 23 2011) USGS data shows the frequent AK listings . The Aleutian Islands area of Alaska is home to the Cleveland volcano, on the uninhabited island of Chuginadak. This volcano is under watch due to "thermal anomalies". As in 2001, if this one blows, aviation disruption will be the result. -see full source

A M6.7 event south of Fiji around 7.30 pm, followed quickly by 2 M5+.
The deep events - 521-538 kms undersea send a shudder down the Kermadec trench, setting off several quake drums in NZ, especially the Urewera drum which seemed like a local M5 event.

Space Weather is following the powerful sunspot1261 in particular amidst the largest display during Cycle 24. This sunspot is emitting numerous flares plus an earth-directed Coronal mass ejection (CME) of charged material. Watch the animation on their website

After a recent lengthy period of  only lower magnitude events the first global quake over M6.0 listed by USGS was in Japan -seafloor east off Honshu
August 19 M6.2 Fiji region , deep seafloor
After an extended quiet period, this is the first event over M6 in the south Pacific since July 31 2011
plus another over M6 in Japan today -M6.5 seafloor off Sendai  

August 21

Before waking, dreamed of an undersea volcano, then came online around 10.30 am to find Vanuatu is going off. - with  9 seafloor events M5-M7.1 since Sat Aug 20. (USGS has the data but this will expire from the main list within a month from today)
Vanuatu region continues to add to recent south Pacific activity in Fiji-Tonga regions. By 2pm NZ time there have now been 3 further M5+ events around Vanuatu. No damage reports and no widespread tsunami. So far the maximum depth of all 12 events since Aug 20 is only 53.8 kms. This reference gives some idea of the geology at different depths.

Mathematics Link Christchurch Quake Sequence

Using mathematical tables of planetary positions

 it is possible to find numerous intriguing links

 between the three major dates that have unfolded

 in the ongoing earthquake sequence in Christchurch New Zealand.

All three events have a direct link

 to the total lunar eclipse on December 21 2010

Why would an event in December activate events months before or after? Research indicates that powerful events have a field of influence that builds beforehand and extends afterwards and this can be shown mathematically by points in time.

This eclipse chart  shows the Moon hard left opposite the Sun's circular glyph, both at right angles to the highest placed Uranus and Jupiter. The red and blue lines of connected energy make this an exceptionally potent representation of energetic forces.

For the purposes of this proposition the mathematics of degrees and minutes of arc ( the full circle of 360 divided into 12 sectors gives each at 30 degrees width) 

The Sun at 29.21 was in full moon opposition to the Moon at 29.21 in two signs Sagittarius-Gemini of the mutable group - (Sagittarius, Gemini, Pisces, Virgo) 

Jupiter at 25.16 and Uranus at 26.46, Mercury at 26.16
Collectively a big energy mix ranging between 25.16-29.21 in mutable signs
29 degrees mutable is in conjunction ( a one degree variation) with 0 degrees cardinal (Cancer, Capricorn, Libra, Aries)
The eclipse degree 29.21 is the strongest, in this close grouping in the eclipse chart.
(other factors empower this chart but to keep on focus they will be left for now)

Event One:
September 4 2010, 4.35 am local time Christchurch New Zealand

Jupiter and Uranus shared the midpoint degree position of 29.59 Pisces

Event Two
February 22 2011 , 12.51 pm local time Christchurch NZ
Sun and Moon shared a midpoint degree of 28.34
Moon and Mercury shared a midpoint degree of 27.11 

The ASC-MC midpoint degree is 29.40  Pisces

Uranus 29.00 Pisces = exact on the midpoint position

Uranus sits at 90 degrees to the Nodes at 0 Cardinal

Event Three

June 13 2011, 2.20 pm local time Christchurch NZ

Sun and Pluto share a midpoint degree of 29.10 Pisces

Mercury and Pluto share a midpoint degree of 29.14 Pisces

The recurrence of factors at 29 Pisces being the stress-generating 90 degree position in reference to the December 2010 eclipse degree of 29 Sagittarius is clear.

In addition all 3 Christchurch seismic events have occurred in with sun and mercury in mutable positions, Sept = Virgo, Feb=Pisces, June=Gemini.


September 2010 saw the early combining of  the power group Pluto-Uranus-Saturn-Jupiter in tight alignment in late mutable to early cardinal positions. This group of 4 and later 3, is highly significant in the ramped up global natural disasters and political upheavals. In June 2011, Pluto occupies the midpoint of Saturn and Uranus, so no surprise that a lot is being activated.

The question now is whether events in this cycle are over for Christchurch

June 2011 sees the beginning of a new eclipse cycle, with 3 events from June 1-July 2.

The new full moon lunar eclipse degree is 24.23 mutable  (Sagittarius) A new chart will have the momentum. More on that once a scan of the chart has occurred.

How about the Japan Tsunami & mega-quake on March 11 2011?

Since this event occurred within the time frame this too must show relevant indicators.

There are 7 factors evident that are tightly linked to the eclipse degree of 29 Mutable

The most significant is the mid-point of Mars and Saturn (29.12 SAG) right on the December eclipse sun, plus Uranus is at 29.56 Pisces

Other midpoints at 25.07, 26.27, 26.33 Pisces.

One midpoint at 0 Aries

ASC-MC midpoint of 27.22 Gemini

The Sun and Moon were both in mutable signs ( Pisces, Gemini )

As with the other events, many more factors in the chart depiction can be identified as contributing to the events. 

The mathematical links identified serve as triggers for the event in time.

2012

A new and powerful sequence began on December 23 2011 and has been persistent into January 2012

On December 23 at 1.58pm a M5.85 bearing 9 kilotonnes of energy released into Pegasus Bay, 5.8kms east off New Brighton and 13.8 kms east of Cathedral Square central Christchurch. Since that event a multitude of aftershocks have hammered the Bay - data

Following the thesis of the involvement of mutable signs in late degrees to 0 degrees cardinal
Mutable being:  Sagittarius, Gemini, Pisces, Virgo
Cardinal being: Aries Libra Caner Capricorn

The standout feature on the chart wheel for 1.58pm Dec 23 is Pluto in Capricorn in tight proximity conjunct the MC point ( most elevated = significant & is a strong activation point)

Then note that the AC = acendant or "birth moment" of the event is in Aries - 6 degrees in tight stress position = square to Pluto and the MC.

Overall a tightly linked pattern, evidenced by aspect lines drawn.

All the above factors point to the significant transformational power of this sequence activator.
Scientists say they are surprised by the intensity. An astrologer looking at this knows that this birth chart is packing kilotonnes worth of energy and from this some consideration may be given to the next major triggering by factors activating the cardinal positions 6-7-8 degrees  as we may be witnessing a transition into that energy predominating over the late mutables as triggers. However if any upcoming date combines the two groups, be prepared.

Knowing that Uranus and Pluto will meet at 8 degrees during May-June-July-August 2012, it is clear that June is potentially the month when the next reactivation will be strongest in the time frame from June 18, building to the New Moon at 29 Gemini on June 20 and extending as Mars moves to late Virgo through to the end of June and into July 1-4. This scenario is significantly aggravated by  Sun-Uranus-Pluto all aligned on June 30

Pluto 8.15 Capricorn
The Moon and Saturn both at 23 degrees on that day also bring timing and manifesting energies to this power-packed trio while Mars holds the 28 degree mutable position in Virgo.

If the December 23 event is to have a second more brutal phase, this time frame has the astrological hallmarks that resonate with that initiating event.
Geoscientists are talking about 6 monthly events so on this occasion two very different perspectives may for once be in tune.

Update June 17 2012

This chart for June 20, 10.30 pm shows a strongly activated chart for Christchurch - at the same same as the pattern prevails down the same longditude band including locations such as Auckland and Pacific Islands including Samoa, Fiji, Tonga.
On June 20 after the 28.43 Gemini New Moon has passed in NZ at 3am the chart for 10.30pm that day above contains these points of relevance in late Mutable to zero Cardinal: [degrees+minutes]

Other associated factors include Mars linked to Jupiter, Node & MC in supportive late cardinal degrees .
The sun is at 29 Gemini

Aside from this continued mathematical link, this time frame of late June with the strong emphasis on  8 degrees cardinal (Pluto-Uranus in exact 90 degree angle) is reinforced at 10.30pm on June 20 by the Moon at 8 cardinal along with Mars-Saturn and Mars-Pluto.
All combined, this is a destructive picture which has the potential to impact Christchurch, along with other locations as stated.

2013 update
The period June-July-August 2013 is worth watching for enhanced seismicity in Christchurch
June 19 sees a total eclipse of Jupiter by the Sun when both occupy 28 Gemini
Extreme turbulencce in atmospherics and extra gravitational strain in the period noted is capable of rupturing sensitive areas of the global tectonic network.
A Supermoon in June 2013 is the second and strongest of 2013, followed by a 3rd in July

New Zealand's worst Quake + Tsunami -plus chart patterns

As matter of interest, following two damaging quakes impacting upon Christchurch & Canterbury ( Sept 4 2010, Feb 22 2011) this example is posted of the highest magnitude (8.2) quake in New Zealand

January 23 1855 centred in the Wairarapa region ( Featherston selected), at 9.11pm local time

Note the tight bowl pattern, where the planets are bunched up in less than half of the full 360 degree wheel. Concentrated force and single minded focus is accentuated.

For a mega event expect to see Jupiter prominent: here Jupiter is caught up in 5 surrounding energies. The Jupiter-Mars midpoint 13AQU58 links directly to Neptune 14 Pisces (water - providing there the tsunami signature) and to the other positions in the range 12-14 degrees: the Ascendant, Moon and Uranus. You would expect the main earthquake player Uranus to be embroiled and here it links to several other factors.

• The Sun is in close range, having just passed an exact square to the big transformer, plutonic Pluto
• Mars squares the nodes closely ( Uranus, north Node and ASC all in earth signs)
•  the Sun-Uranus & Sun-Node, Jupiter-Uranus, Mars-Pluto midpoints [ in late degrees of mutable sign Pisces] all activate the Galactic Centre (which was 25SAG28 in 1900, so calculated at 24SAG50 in 1855)

full data for January 1855 shows from Jan 16-Jan 26 the prime earthquake indicator Uranus shifted from retrograde to direct - direct on Jan 21 at 12Taurus42 - but this part of the phase, holding an apparent paused position is termed stationary and intensifies the potency of the energy.

Big environmental events can be frequently traced back to eclipses- if you know where to look -
In the case of this event of Jan 23 1855 with multiple factors activated in the 12-14 degree range the answer lies in the preceding eclipse of November 1854.
This was a New Moon on Nov 20 when the fateful forecast was set in place by a combination of 3 potent forces - Saturn-Uranus-Neptune combining unharmoniously through the month and locked in place in that 13-14 degree very tight intensity as an eclipse signature - a pattern able to be activated anytime in the usual 6 month ahead time frame of an eclipse's period of main influence.
Saturn energy is a disaster indicator when combined stressfully with other potentially destructive forces.
Neptune is the force of the water element
Uranus is sudden force of change regularly linked to earthquakes
So it comes as no surprise - and can be repeatedly demonstrated - that potent planetary combinations are perpetually in existence and able to be earthed by triggers especially Moon, also Mercury, Venus - as well as specific degree positions - in this case anything in the range 12-14 degrees - which clearly occurred in late January 1854 - expressed in the environment as a massive quake and tsunami

So for an interesting comparison to other events look at the visuals of : 

(1) the 2.46pm March 11 2011 chart for the Japan quake showing another bunched pattern and all but 2 elements on one side of the chart -these are linked though so again, a tight, focussed force.

(2) the Tarawera eruption Waikato New Zealand 1886 = a very tight bowl pattern with two bunches of compressed energy, the Virgo section aspecting the Galactic Centre -then around 25SAG16.
