Three significant patterns cluster around the January 2016 time frame from 6-10th.

The Sun, Moon, Pluto, Uranus, Chiron synergised energy could be activated as early as Jan 6 in advance of the New Moon on the 10th.
This violent, destructive combo is contemporary with Jupiter aligned tightly with the lunar nodal axis which delivers big and extreme events
In terms of natural forces, weather effects will continue to show alarming & possibly unprecedented effects, particularly involving massive amounts of water as well as its absence - drought.

In human terms, this period witnesses extreme religious dogma is the basis of extreme behaviour once again.
Venus and Saturn aligned will deepen relationships for some and destroy them for others.

These effects are high-level potentials in the time frame noted and are preceded by over a week of Mars-Mercury angry mind energy. The thoughts behind the actions.

Note that New and Full Moon periods have usually a 3 day window either side of exactitude and have also a lunar month period ahead of exactitude, when potentials can also be repeatedly activated.

If the worst-case scenario arises and there is a noticeable globally significant economic shake in October - rather than just further volatility - this month will be of considerable importance as a marker of the long overdue and widely predicted - even by conservative financial forecasters - onset of another global financial meltdown.

The IMF considers the estimated US$3trillion in over-borrowing in emerging markets to pose the greatest risk to the global economy, the unprecedented spree of lending/borrowing being no longer viable.
Commodities like oil, minerals, metals are in a slump phase: the period 2005-2008 was marked by high prices, big investment and concerns about scarcity generated the oversupply problems causing problems in 2015.

If October is not a wipeout, then it is likely to be indicative of further contagion re declines in global markets and economies, evidenced as well in the employment data.

The bust itself could be slightly deferred.

Picking which straw breaks the camel's back is not an easy task.

update November 4 2015 - the Uranian effect [being opposite the October New Moon in Libra] bringing change in conditions, resulted in a bounce upwards, supporting global sharemarkets with Jupiter amplifying Venus and Mars bolstering Jupiter - all in mid degrees of Virgo. These are transient effects which will be not be sustained in the face of the passage of Saturn through Sagittarius -an indicator of inhibited, restrained growth -affecting everything from crops, to business.

A few years back I discovered Merriman Market Analyst -a highly successful American forecaster using planetary cycles. 

Somehow I forgot about this useful link, but recent indicators of significant factors impacting global economies reminded me of Raymond Merriman's site.

We both look at planetary cycles but don't use exactly the same emphasis and our analysis methodology is different.

Merriman is way more experienced in this specialist area and uses "advanced research techniques" whereas I am a generalist using just my brain.

 Regarded as the worst humanitarian crisis involving mass movements of people since WW2, some 12 million Syrians displaced since 2011, 4 million of those into other countries; 3 million displaced from Iraq since December 2013; Rohinaya Muslims from Myanmar and Bangladesh, numbering some 25,000 in the period January-March 2015. 
These are some but not all of the global situations representing floods of people on the move.

Planetary indicators show what may be the peak in middle September 2015

Jupiter in Virgo is the social networks of people, structured social groupings or demographics. 
Neptune is the energy of flow like water, a tide.

September 2015 is noted not only for the human floods but also major flash floods in Japan and the US and any other significantly large body of water in movement. [as I write a M8 quake off Chile has sent a tsunami wave across the Pacific Ocean as well as along the shoreline in the region of Santiago.

Opposing forces grow:
Controls, restrictions, barriers, walls, fences, laws, penalties, strict and austere approaches.
With the return of Saturn to Sagittarius on September 18 2015 the response to people of nationality that is foreign to a host nation becomes much less compassionate in certain locations.

Human streams converge- Mina Sept 24 2015

The Human Flood resulting in mass deaths in Mina, near Mecca, Saudia Arabia during the events of the Haj reflects strongly the prevailing planetary energies of Jupiter opposing Neptune and Saturn in Sagittarius. 

Jupiter and Sagittarius are indicators of spiritual or religious matters. Neptune represents a very similar attunement to the divine and includes devotion and worship. 

Saturn is associated with challenges, tests, difficulties or disasters.

Within the context of the Haj an immense devotional flood of human energy met the blockage and tragic outcome represented by Saturn.
A 5am local time for the tragic event shows Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron prominent on the sunrise-sunset AC-DC axis; Saturn in range of midway between the Sun and Moon.
These positionings amplify and electromagnetically earth the extreme energy in the location at that time.

Across the other side of the world, as this tragedy unfolded

but before the news was known, I observed, while walking 

in the late afternoon, a very large cloud in the blue sky. 

It was the shape of a Satan figure, viewed from behind.

 It formed a lunging position towards the waxing Moon above. 

It swallowed the moon and as the half moon was swallowed 

its full shape was visible, like a round stone

update: Sept 27 the 96 year old, recently restored vessel MV Tuhoe foundered at the mouth of the Waimakariri River. After two nights spent stranded at the river mouth, the boat had taken on board 1m depth of seawater in the hull, the stern dropped and buckling and splitting destroyed the Tuhoe's integrity. An immediate deconstruction process ensued.

The prevailing energies of flood,  [Jupiter-Neptune, assisted by connected energies of Mars and Saturn] amplified by the September 28 Supermoon were all relevant in the ill-fated timing of the journey from Lyttelton -after $200,000 of restoration work, to its Kaiapoi River berth, passing the Waimakariri River en route. A sandbar trapped the boat -and not for the first time - June 1963 was a lucky escape for the Tuhoe when the boat got stuck on the Waimakariri bar but responded to refloating. Maritime mishaps were written in the stars when the boat first launched on April 7 1919.

October sees an intensification of the forces opposing the spreading human flood wherever in the world that this issue is manifesting.
Discord, anger likely with Mars conjoined with Jupiter in mid October.
 Saturn comes increasing closer to an exact 90 degree angle to Neptune


November:
Restraints, legal restrictions, barriers intensify against the forces of flow and of justice, freedom and compassion.  
A polarizing struggle may result with sentiment strong on both sides in affected Eurozone communities -many in support of welcoming refugees, many opposed.
Different outcomes likely in different nations - one taking a hardline restrictive approach while a bordering country opting for tolerance and inclusion.
The Saturn-Neptune standoff intensifies through November and very pronounced as the month ends and December begins.

December:
While significant restriction on refugee movements seem likely to be embedded across the Eurozone by December, it will be worth noting the events surrounding 18-20 December when another energy pattern begins to develop relating to mass movements of people.
New conditions in different locations likely to add to the social causes of displacement. 
Extreme weather conditions likely to unfold in mid December are also a significant part of the picture: drought likely to intensify in October, through November and December but any source of destructive flooding also potentially involved.
Galactic Centre position 27 SAG activated in December 
The Sun and lunar nodal axis will converge to provide a noticeable trigger of extreme weather conditions.


Jupiter conjunct the lunar north node will be triggered by the Sun-Node contact in December as an early indicator of events in January and February 2016 when Jupiter is tight to exact on nodal axis for weeks in duration

It seems likely that a perfect storm of social-political and environmental root causes are converging in the period  December 2015-January-February 2016 with human displacement on a very significant scale being the outcome in diverse global locations and not just restricted to the Eurozone.

The issues of drought and deluge reflect cyclic patterns returning and can be seen in past cycles of El Nino mirroring planetary cycles involving Saturn and Neptune.
When Jupiter combines forces with Neptune the deluge and flooding energies become extreme as noted in September 2015.
May 2016 will see a resumption of the Jupiter-Neptune opposition but Saturn will be at 90 degrees to both planets - Saturn is the restrictive energy, capable of offsetting some of the extremes, but also capable of wrecking or destabilising structures -natural or constructed and so landslips, landslides, riverbanks being breached are typical of Saturn bringing disastrous outcomes in respect of excess water.

After a dramatic market slump in China mid 2015, considerable government intervention was put in place to try to staunch the bleeding.
The massive loss of capital overseas has also led to Chinese restrictions on the outflow in the latter part of 2015 into early 2016.
Market turmoil resumed globally at the New Year -even before the economically shaky Year of the Monkey was ushered in.
No stability has been witnessed in the first 5 weeks of 2016. Volatility is the name of the game and the next period of deepening threat arises in March 2016 when multiple factors could spell trouble.
2016 has the same eclipse positions as in 1997 when the last Asian economic crisis occurred.
Both 1997 and 2016 have a total solar eclipse on March 9 .
Events in March will be precursors to the Sept-Oct 2016 events.
In October 1997 markets dropped in the range 2%-7.7%.
Let's see what happens this time.
The Saturn to Jupiter angle of 90 degrees is indicative, in late March 2016 of constrained growth, restricted freedom, restricted movement.
Unemployment spikes, mass job layoffs, closures, travel restrictions, borders tightened. Economic implications are unavoidable under these conditions. The planetary signature of heat and dryness is linked to the Fire signs -Aries, Leo, Sagittarius and their planetary bodies -Mars, the Sun and Jupiter.
Looking again at June 2015:
Jupiter is in fire sign Leo
Uranus is in fire sign Aries.
At the New Moon on June 16 these two planets combined forces -Jupiter at 18'55 Leo, Uranus at 19'51 Aries - just one degree of separation -and closing -as Jupiter's pace quickened daily towards exact trine on June 22  and due to remain in very close range until the end of June 2015.

Extensive - means big, large scale - these are the keywords of Jupiter energy - and as shown earlier, these forces are strongly in the mix to deliver consequences on a grand scale.
Extreme - is a potential of Jupiter energy to go off the scale -  when combined with one or more other potentising forces. In June 2015, that is two fire energies combining, driven by Jupiter plus Uranus.

Unusual - is a signature applied commonly to the energy delivered by Uranus. This becomes even more pronounced when Uranus is amplified by another powerhouse.
Since 2011, Pluto combining with Uranus has brought great destructive forces to the fore environmentally as well as in human affairs.
This combination is still in play and capable of continued activation but the current role of Jupiter stimulating Uranian effects is delivering unexpected, unusual environmental effects involving extreme weather.

Unsurprisingly from the perspective of this blog, the Sun, in the aftermath of solar flares, erupted enough charged particles into space in the period June 22-23 to match the prevailing signatures.

The Sun is Leo fire energy combined with Jupiter on account of its colossal dimensions -so the period of Jupiter moving through Leo [2014-Aug 2015] is a prime opportunity to observe large scale events being activated when other planetary bodies trigger the prevailing position of Jupiter. 
June 2015 has clearly been one of those, but Jupiter then speeds away from Uranus, only to nest come within the close range of a severely limiting for -Saturn - from the end of July into August, intensely during the first week. Dylann Roof a 21 year old white man is in custody, identified on CCTV leaving the scene, where he had sat for an hour before the carnage occurred.
Roof was arrested in North Carolina.
Prior arrests this year in Feb [drug possession] and April [trespass] were yet to be adjudicated

Mars, Sun and Moon all tightly conjoined at this time in the range 24-25 Gemini. This combination mirrored his inherent capacity for aggressive thoughts. [Mars-Mercury]
Saturn an ill omen, had only just re-entered Scorpio, retrograding back from Sagittarius and hovering at the last minutes of the 29th degree. This late Scorpio energy from Saturn served to add even more negativity to the extremism of Roof's birthday Pluto in late Scorpio.
At the New Moon, Uranus in Aries [sudden aggression] linked to the position of Mercury at 5 Gemini [semisquare] adding a mood of violent thoughts -which added to the mix and may be a direct activation of Roof as well if his whole birth data was accessible for analysis.
