Fate & the Amelia Earhart Mystery

Amelia Earhart’s mysterious death
 is signposted by a string

 of challenging forces that arose

 from the point of her initial global mission

 on March 17 1937

By attempting to fly the longest global route around the equator, 

Amelia Earhart was set for world-wide fame. 

It was an ambitious and risky project

 and hallmarks of impending failure were laid bare

 well before July of 1937

An analysis of factors affecting Earhart is derived from a cross-comparison of prevailing indicators in 1937 with her very revealing birth pattern from the documented birth date July 24 1897. 

The methodology involves a consideration of the system of planetary forces which creates everything in existence. At birth, each of us has a template of the conditions in operation on that day, further personalised by knowledge of the actual birth time. Loosely similar to a weather report – which is another type of energy analysis – a planetary analysis can forecast the likely outcomes when incompatible components come in range of effect, like when low pressure meets high pressure and disturbed conditions are proven to be created.

The birth chart of Amelia Earhart shows:

• An unusually tight collection of planetary elements is evident –the bunch in Gemini [Moon-Pluto-Venus-Neptune] the exact conjunction of Mars-Jupiter and very close conjunction of Saturn-Uranus alone speak volumes about the personality and death of Amelia Earhart – to the extent that Death in Transit is strongly indicated.

The movement/fast-changing signs are:

Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces, Virgo – collectively encompassing physical movement in space –Gemini-Sagittarius, moving conditions, fluidity –Pisces, and mental movement – Virgo.

The movement planets -also fast-changing -  are Mercury, Jupiter and Neptune.

Despite being born under the signs of determined and stubborn traits –Leo Sun, Taurus Ascendant, the energy of restlessness and movement clearly prevailed for Amelia given the 4 planets in Gemini, Jupiter highly strengthened by the proximity of Mars, Mercury bolstered by Mars-Jupiter.

Tragically her restless energy and fascination with movement over large expanses led to her date with death.

There is extensive interconnectivity seen in the birth chart which give strong pointers to the timing and likely end point scenario

Amelia’s Sun and Mercury in Leo at the lunar south node point indicate a person with a high profile generated in a prior life –driving her to an attention-getting form of self expression. With the Mars-Jupiter-Mercury combination providing a busy mind focussed on large scale projects, some form of outlet involving movement across distances was highly likely. 

The clue as to why Amelia chose aviation over motor car rallying or long distance athletics – two other pursuits with similar restless sign & planetary indicators – may be found in the other dominant energy in her chart – the fixed expressions of factors in Scorpio, Leo, Taurus, Aquarius [ Sun, Mercury, lunar nodes, Uranus, Saturn, Ascendant]

Fixed sign keywords and correspondences include determination, stubbornness, the ego, death & transformation, rebelliousness. 

When strongly emphasised changeable and fixed elements are trying to operate together within one person there will be times of strongly ego driven, willful risk-taking or adventurous behaviour.

Scorpio is the energy of fatal or near death experience and so this is a powerful lure for those who wish to push themselves to the limit.

In Amelia’s chart she has Saturn and Uranus in close conjunction in Scorpio. 

Uranus is the planet most associated with aviation and with accidents.

Saturn is the planet most associated with difficulties, blocks, restraints, failures

The karmic signposts in her chart –the lunar nodes - are in Aquarius-Leo – and Sun-Mercury sit astride the past indicator –the south node. 

The north node [future] is linked by sign [Aquarius] back to its related planet Uranus – which as stated, is in Scorpio, and directly influenced by Saturn.

Death related to aviation is a high level possibility under the north node-Aquarius-Uranus-Saturn-Scorpio scenario –but that is not the end of it.

Uranus-Saturn at 24-25 degrees Scorpio link strongly to Neptune in Gemini at 21 degrees –and this Neptune is fully energised by the forces of 3 other linked ingredients –Venus-Pluto-Moon all acting in a synergy with Neptune.

The dream space [Neptune] of travel [Gemini] over water is complicated by difficulties. [Neptune was loaded with the fate of death [Pluto] due to the failure [Saturn] of the aircraft [Uranus] which may very likely have been, as suspected by many, due to fuel issues - blockage or loss [Saturn] of fuel [Neptune]

The timeline of difficulties becomes apparent from :

March 17 1937

This take-off date saw the first mechanical problems 

Saturn at 25 and Pluto at 26 degrees were in close to exact connection to the Sun on that day indicating that problematic and destructive forces were prevalent and continued to be in effect on March 20 when further limiting problems occurred

May 21 1937

The plane was flown from Oakland, California to Miami, Florida. 

After the previous plane repairs, the route was altered from an East-West path to a West-East direction.

On that day: Sun-Mars-Pluto all linked in the range 27-29 degrees. Pluto’s destructive/transformative energies being fuelled by Sun-Mars in unison

June 1 1937

Earhart’s plane leaves Miami bound for South America accompanied by experienced navigator Fred Noonan. This is the beginning of the equatorial global flight which will include Africa, India, South East Asia and Australia on the flight path, before arriving in Papua New Guinea at the end of June.

Being accompanied by just one other person, the joined or twinned destiny of Earhart with her navigator Noonan is reflected in the predominance of the twin sign Gemini in the unfolding death scenario.

On June 1 the destiny factors are closing in on Earhart.

• Mars has reached 24 Scorpio sitting in exact connection range of her birthday Saturn 24 Scorpio and Uranus 25 Scorpio

•  the lunar nodes at 15 Sagittarius-Gemini are activating her Pluto at 14 Gemini; the Sun in Gemini will soon pass over all off her Gemini planets –with an intensifying effect produced when the  total solar eclipse of  June 8 1937 – 17 Gemini serves as a triggering of the Earhart planets sitting from 12-21 Gemini: the midpoint of that range is 16.5 degrees so the close proximity positionings are simultaneously activated [eclipses begin their effects in the days prior and may be retriggered repeatedly within the 6 months until the next eclipse]

June 29 1937

Earhart reaches Lae, Papua New Guinea for refuelling.

22,000 miles of the route have been covered. 7,000 miles remain, all across the Pacific.

At 0:00hrs GMT – likely local time around 10am – the plane left Lae [lat 6’30 S, long 146’43 E] with the plan to reach Howland Island [0’48 N, 176’37 W] 

The last complete radio message from Earhart was recorded at  19.30 GMT [ around 5.30 a.m on July 3 in the Pacific location]

Including the statement ‘…gas is running low…’

Last transmission 21.30 GMT [approx 07.30 a.m. ]

Presumed to have ditched at sea

On July 2 GMT

Multiple planetary factors activate positions in Earhart’s chart

Neptune to her Sun [semisquare]

Jupiter & Venus to her Saturn-Uranus [sextile]

Lunar Nodes to her Sun, Venus-Pluto [ semisquare, conjunct]

Sun to her Mars-Jupiter [sextile]

Sun to her Saturn-Uranus [semisquare]

Of these, activations of Saturn-Uranus, Mars-Jupiter and Venus-Pluto and the involvement of so many activators complete the disaster scenario with a probable death in water  [Neptune-Sun] as a consequence of engine failure [Saturn-Uranus] which links back to the loss of fuel [ Saturn-Uranus-Neptune in the birth chart]

Presumed dead on July 2 1937, officially Earhart was declared dead on January 5 1939

It would be expected on departing on July 2 1937 on the final portion of the flight, adequate fuel reserves had been loaded to reach Howland Island from Lae, Papua New Guinea so the question arises as to whether in a plane already beset by issues since the March 17 attempt, a functional issues interfered with fuel.

A 2012 discovery by sonar of a seafloor anomaly is being investigated in the Kiribati Islands, specifically Nikumaroro - 4.40 S, 174.31 W. If this proves to be the wreckage of Earhart’s Lockheed Electra plane, then the problems arose well before the intended refuelling destination.

TIGHAR theory related to artifacts recovered on Nikumaroro may be consistent with items dislodged from wreckage upon or soon after impact.

TIGHAR now feel the fragment found on Nikumaroro is consistent with an aluminium patch repair with distinctive rivet pattern, added in Miami. They feel this adds to the castaway theory -that Earhart lived on the island, having survived the crash - report

The time of writing this post has echoes back 76 years.

The Sun is again in Gemini, with a sprinkling of other planets across that sector. The 8th of June 2013 will also see a New Moon in Gemini - as on June 8 1937 - but not, as then, complicated by an eclipse.

Time to remember Amelia Earhart. 

This brief report is written in a style to enable a general readership with little or no

 astrological knowledge to gain an insight into astrological analysis,

 as well as for those who understand the more technical aspects.

The solar system is viewed as a holistic integrated system

 with clear consequences of this experienced on earth.

Being embedded in a vast magnetic field means constant exposure to a range of energy frequencies much like a radio receiver receives stations and television is tuned to channels.

 The earth and all in existence here are exposed to the effects of high frequency cosmic electromagnetic radiation intermingling with our planet's magnetic field.

The effects generated by the sun, moon and planets are understood in this context to derive from their generation of  individual & specific radiation frequencies which bear signature effects

and which have been observed to do so consistently 

since the time of recorded celestial observations by humans

This June 2012 full moon is another close perigee = Supermoon as defined by Richard Nolle.
The perigee, exact full moon and moon in extreme south declination all occur in close combination - and very soon to be followed by the transit of Venus across the sun on June 5-6. This transit adds to the last eclipse indicators re a shift away from dominant masculine power towards greater prominence of the feminine - less yang more yin. The time to assert far greater female equality is also very relevant.

Mars versus Venus

[update June 5: With the weekend of celebration re Britain's Queen Elizabeth's 60 year reign - Diamond Jubilee coinciding with the Venus transit it is timely to note that her popularity has perhaps never been higher. This contrasts with the widespread contemporary distaste people have for governments and their style of management. A strong example of the shift in male-female power dynamics]

Michael Erlewine, using his tidal force tables also attributes a 93-94% pull being in force between June 3-6 2012.  These combined factors considered, seismic activity is expected to increase under these conditions.

UK London chart chosen on account of the Queen's Jubilee -shows Jupiter ( optimism, confidence) in Taurus (steadfast, fundamental values)  most elevated - and at a time when the great transformer, Pluto is exact on the, also elevated, Sun, the Royal signifier in this context. Britain's chart set for 1066 shows the prominence of Royalty and tradition (Capricorn) - to this nation. A rebirth of Royal devotion looks likely, since they, as a family represent the supportive and good service aspects of a benign nation far more than the role played by governments -especially amidst austere times.
With Uranus in the mix, set to tighten its strain on the status quo in the UK [ as well as across the globe whereever change is overdue] the question arises whether the Queen will decide to end her reign within the year.

Christchurch New Zealand selected for the lunar eclipse at 11.11pm June 4 2012 -though this is taken as representative of NZ in general for this event. [seismic activity has been ongoing in this region since the first, unexpected sequence on unknown faults occurred on Sept  4 2010]

A Neptunian tragedy
Neptune-Pisces connects strongly to water -  but also to drugs, alcohol, oil, gas, chemicals, toxicity, sensitivities, allergies. Any or several of these are likely to be implicated in painful events including deaths, in this lunar eclipse time frame [ can be triggered by other elements, days before exactitude & potentially active up to next lunar eclipse in 6mnths] 
For Christchurch, this signature is based on the Neptune-Chiron placement at the AC (ascendant) - all in Pisces and with Pluto joining the energy of Scorpio (MC) via tight sextile to Chiron. The associated  dimension of a powerful spiritual healing for some involved in such an event.

Ascendant, Neptune, Chiron in Pisces

1. With tight contacts between Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars there are relationship and gender tensions over beliefs, ideas, thoughts, comments, opinions, philosophies - a significant male-female divide exposed over when men think versus the female opinion or even just yin versus yang - parenting, work/life balance, home life vs career life, are sure to be newsworthy [ in NZ]  in this lunar month.
In general, universally & globally, a notable theme this month is about conflict, a clash of beliefs, arguments over details; news and media content criticised.
Mature, mediated conversations are the remedy; resolving differences through mediation - this applies as much on a personal level as in business and public domains.  Collectively we need to permit the process of resolution, peace-making, diplomacy to settle our differences - or face perpetual hellish scenarios in a world gone insane.
[update June 11 the eclipse has brought forth in NZ the issue of educational philosophy - perfectly reflecting Gemini-Sagittarius. Much dissent - via the stressor Mars - followed a proposed government policy for schools. People power, via the Pluto-Uranus square - enabled a government backdown 

2. Gemini-Sagittarius both involve movement as in local trips, distant travel, walking, driving, various forms of transport. With Mars in tension - speed, arguments can be the source of travel accidents. Mars is fire energy and so can be associated with transport problems, vehicle combustion.

New Zealand had over 800 vehicle crashes, with 7 fatalities in the holiday weekend period June 2-4 - way in excess of the stats for April 2012 Easter long weekend. The road Police are mystified. There was a full moon supermoon in effect on the Easter weekend from April 6-8, but the themes of that event did not suggest a hi profile for transport disasters aggravated by Mars as is event for the June  4 eclipse.
Extra heavy snow fell on central South Island's Canterbury region, with Christchurch experiencing the "heaviest snow in living memory", including snow at sea-level on beaches. The result has been widespread transport disruption on June 6-7, affecting roads and air travel. Water - frozen in the form of ice and snow has been the prime factor, leading also to power outages [ 1700 homes in Canterbury by morning of Jun 7]. Schools & other educators have been closed on June 6 in Canterbury and the bus transport system shut down in Christchurch. Temperatures dropped to -11C in rural west Canterbury at Darfield.
Mountain passes across the region have been closed & many highways closed.
Postal delivery - another Gemini domain -suspended in Chch June 7. 

In other locations surface flooding from heavy rain (Greymouth, NZ and water has been problematic on Australia's eastern seaboard: wild surf in Sydney from the supertides. In east of Victoria state, Australia, the Gippsland Lakes are posing a flood crisis after huge rainfall ]



With Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Aries moving tighter and tighter to an exact 90 degree right angle relationship in June, this represents maximum tension between 2 very contrary forces, though both have revolutionary potentials.
The psychological achetypes related to the signs of Capricorn and Aries are being majorly readjusted amongst humanity to correct imbalances [Saturn in Libra holds this card]
Where Capricorn is the elder and mature component of our psyche, Aries is the raw selfish child; Capricorn represents the clan or family component; Aries is the individual. These two often opposing drives towards the needs of self vs the common good have to be better balanced. We have swung way to far into the territory of selfish children.

Saturn's influence is in the mix in order to facilitate this process of change on the level of responsible relating amongst humans in all spheres of social activity  - from domestic to public, national and international contexts. We all need to do better, be better and as an example of this, the most pressing & unavoidable truth is to manage monetary behaviour in a more adult fashion, as indicated by global, national and personal financial pressures necessitating the hand of Saturn in terms of fiscal restraint.

Capricorn represent societal structure, governments and authorities [ in loco parentis] and in many nations, governmental management has had the hallmarks of dysfunctional parenting for way too long.  This generates a failure of the system to do as intended - to provide the right conditions for citizens to live a productive and healthy life. Operating a national economy that ensures good food, meaningful employment, suitable housing, efficient infrastructure and supportive services is the fundamental task of government. This is a struggle now not only in the Third World, but across First World nations - proof that radical restructuring is required. This process, thankfully, has already, though slowly begun - and will continue intensely in the period of coming years.  This is indeed an historic era to be living through but the transition will not be smooth, nor easy.
Expect to see some clear examples of the process of socio-political-economic change repeatedly in the news  - some signs will relate to policies and beliefs, some to rebellion & upheaval, some to end of era indicators, some to significant deaths and falls from grace.

Solar activity with geo-effective potentials increased on June 3 with a 3.3 M flare, adding to the earth-facing high speed wind stream. Solar flux and the sunspot number also rose.

2010-2016 Water issues -too little, too much = imbalance, extremes

In the 21st Century -a Summary of aspects Repeating the 1930's:

1.  We are again in an era of dominant Cardinal sign placements held by the powerfully influential Pluto, Uranus and Saturn in 2011-2012. Plus, the mutable energies (primarily Sagittarius & Pisces) follow that group, as in the 1930's.

From July 2010 Saturn's drying and blocking influence has held sway in the cardinal sign Libra, relating to issues of  balance/imbalance in the environment . Saturn remains in Libra until October 6 2012, after which the sign of Scorpio follows for almost 3 years. The effects of Saturn now bring endings, transformation and new beginnings, commonly marked by the symbolism and actuality of death. 
( land, crops, pasture, stock die or are radically transformed)

2.  Saturn in mutable Sagittarius will square Neptune in mutable Pisces from December 2015-October 2016 - a significant drought indicator but most likely also in this timeframe to indicate environmental emergencies in places subjected to excess water
(Clear signs are building regarding very vulnerable places, nations, islands concerning flooding )


The imbalance is now set in place for such extremes.


3.  2011 sees the start of a long-term 90 degree square-off involving Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Aries (2011-2016). (in terms of elements: hot wind vs deep changes in lunar, tidal, fluid levels & earth structural conditions)


Essentially, the Pluto-Uranus cycle is being witnessed again as in the thirties, USA, dust bowl drought and the effects of Saturn on water are repeated in vulnerable places

update August 1 2015

The El Nino atmospheric pattern has been weak in the recent period:

The strongest event in recent decades was the 1997-98 El Nino.

Weak El Ninos occurred 2004-2007, Moderate in 2009-10.

The return of El Nino for 2015-2016 is potentially strong to very strong & if a run of El Nino years occurs as in 1930-1933 or 1939-1942 then the flow on economic effect will also be sustained.

A sustained El Nino is highly consistent with the forecasting outlined above using contemporary and upcoming planetary indicators along with the historic record -see 2015 post on China and El Nino and the post on drought in the US

Full Moon April 6 2012 lunar month forecast

Full Moon in Libra.

The forecast for the lunar month ahead involves the balancing out of personal individual needs and wants versus the commitments of and needs of a partnership.

A big influence linking to this issue is the involvement of Venus and Neptune in a pleasurable/romantic/escapist combination which brings a great atmosphere around Easter vacation recreation especially when you take part in maritime activities, driving excursions or even just getting in touch by correspondence, messaging or just good old fashioned chatting. In locations lacking maritime recreation, Neptune energy can be expressed positively through watching movies, a photography excursion. Negative use of the energy can surpass moderation and result in addictive level behaviours including a binge on alcohol, drugs or gambling.

This is for most people a benign period -  the only dark cloud on the general horizon this lunar month is  on/around April 16 when relationship strains are accentuated for those with 26 degrees positions for the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars - especially in the cardinal signs Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn.

Other planetary positions will be bringing issues up for those whose personal positions are aligned with those current patterns - determining this requires individual analysis of specific birth charts. For this reason the general themes only in this time frame are referenced.

More challenging times are ahead, this year, for a broader cross-section of people due to the patterns unfolding. These will be notified in due course.

Have to add that I did not specifically look at environmental factors when this write-up was posted but events on April 11-12 involving a spate of large earthquakes have led me to write up an extra update in a separate post on these events

Aries New Moon 2012 March 22

Mercury and Uranus in Aries have compounded with the sun and moon to generate some heat - and heated communications, sudden heat outbursts/explosions are manifesting. There's a big fire event in Jefferson County (Lower north Fork fire) USA and several fires raging along the rail line in Christchurch NZ, due to a train fault. An Auckland man is in trouble for losing his cool & assaulting two other males, one a 13 year old at a skate park on March 26.  The shootings in France arose as Mercury and Uranus aligned in Aries in the lead up period before the New Moon - a common time of activation of the moon phase potentials.
These are examples typical of Aries behaviour and events. with the Mars connection, aggressive energies are released by those who have a matching vibration. Weapons of all sorts often are part of the picture - guns, knives in particular. Military urges are stimulated and in the body it's the adrenals glands that are activated. Cuts and blood-spilling are more common than usual when using tools.  Red is the Aries colour. Use it for impact. With Mercury in its retrograde phase, arguments can arise over misunderstandings or unclear communications.
There's no big planetary line up to worry about in this lunar phase March 22-April 21 but Saturn will oppose the sun on April 15 -lining up those whose planets are at or linked to 26 degrees of cardinal signs ( Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn) for probable relationship problems - separation, splitting, 'being dumped' - over me vs us issues.

Easy Rider met fate under Bad Moon Rising

The New Zealand fishing boat, the 11 metre Easy Rider is said to have met a 'rogue wave' just after midnight beginning on March 15 2012, in the often treacherous waters of Foveaux Strait.
Having left Bluff Harbour bound for the Muttonbird Islands about 8pm on Wednesday. the wreckage of the Easy Rider was found about 2km off the coast of the northwestern tip of Stewart Island, near the Bishop and Clerks Islands.
A southwesterly change through Foveaux Strait on Wednesday evening, whipped up six-metre giant waves. [MetService ]
Two freak waves struck from the starboard side and capsized the boat near Stewart Island around 4 hours after it had left Bluff.
The boat had taken on water on two prior occasions in its history.

Another local, former oyster fisherman Christian Fife, said Easy Rider was overloaded when the boat left port. "She was overloaded ... the arse was in the water at the port.''
Maritime NZ will most likely investigate this accident.

Fishermen for millennia used the stars as navigational aids and weather observations as a guide. Perhaps in our current age we have truly lost our way when natural signs and indicators are overlooked or ignored.
For those interested in the Bad Moon aspect the following analysis is offered based on the energies in play that sought a channel of expression.
 Just as lightning seeks a conductor, the earth, sun, moon and all planets in the solar system are embedded in a mesh of magnetic field lines. When points along these pathways connect closely, as seen by mathematical similarity, the energy flows in combination, producing stronger than usual effects.

The chart of planetary positions on the night of this event shows two prominent 'mathematical bundles' of planets & axes:
Sun, AC axis, MC axis, IC axis  at 24 degrees
Venus, Jupiter, Mars, Pluto          at 9 degrees
Everything at 24 degrees is connected closely
Everything at 9 degrees is connected closely
24 degrees is closely connected to 9 degrees by virtue of the geometric division of the 360 degree circle into angles. [The main degree angles of division are 90, 180, 45, but also their component degrees.] When the 360 degree circle is divided into 12 sectors of 30 degrees each, 24 degrees is 45 degrees from 9 degrees - eg in this case 24 Pisces [Sun] + 45 degrees = 9 Taurus [Venus + Jupiter]
The result of the multiple links and connections on the night of the boat capsize is that multiple forces collided and combined to create an extraordinary event - called a freak or rogue wave, submerging a vessel and leading to the deaths of 8 out of nine aboard.
The Bad Moon was in a position indicating a fateful maritime adventure ( Moon and Node combining in the watery 12th house in the positions 8-16 degrees of the voyager sign Sagittarius ) The meeting point of these two factors is 12 degrees of Sagittarius. Here when the mathematical angle of 45 is applied the resulting conductor is 27 Capricorn. Sitting at 90 degrees to this position is the tragic force of Saturn (28 Libra). In Libra, Saturn brings separation and loss in relationships, marriages, partnerships. Saturn, the loss bringer, is in a phase of further maritime and watery problems and disasters as it closes in on its connections to the planet of all things liquid and gassy, Neptune, within the period 2012-2016. Maritime tragedies and water excess/drought are significant outcomes anticipated .

2012 Titanic centenary & 1912 planets

Interest is running high in the 2012 centenary related to the mega disaster that was the sinking of the gargantuan Titanic.
A bulk auction of many salvaged items is to be held on April 1st in New York.
Film-maker James Cameron (Titanic, 1997) is associating with National Geographic to present a documentary "cold case investigation" into the tragedy, screening April 8 in the US.
US physicist Donald Olson from the University of Texas proposes that a perfect mix of astronomical factors enabled the unexpected icebergs to calve off in January 1912 and thereby enter the shipping route followed by the Titanic.
On January 3 1912 the sun was at perihelion in relationship to earth (closest orbit of earth to sun) in earth's annual circuit. Perihelion is always in January and so coincides with southern hemisphere summer, northern hemisphere winter)
On January 4 Full Moon occurred coinciding with lunar perigee ( and  closest earth-moon distance for the year - called a Supermoon) this distance was 356,738 kms. [compare this to the furtherest for 1912 = apogee - 406,641 kms on Jan 18 1912.
Olson explains his understanding as a physicist as to how "This configuration maximised the moon's tide-raising forces on the Earth's oceans"
2012: perihelion is on January 5 but closest perigee is May 6 at 356953 kms - so no double whammy effect.

Titanic news is an example of ongoing maritime issues being highlighted related to the long term transit of Neptune through Pisces.
In addition the 1912 event looks to have been significantly activated by planetary factors massing at the 27 -28 degree positions. Mathematical repetitions are found as an indicator of the synergistic effect of multiple energetic forces giving birth to a high impact event.

The April 1st lunar eclipse [Full Moon] at 11Libra49 is in tight angle to 27 degrees
The Titanic sank on April 15 1912 after embarking on April 10 - a journey which fell within the two April eclipses and which resonated so strongly with prior activating energies.

2012 Virgo Full Moon March 8

Virgo emphasis in this lunar monrth from March 8 2012 will focus on daily diet, nutrition, general health and moderation. Virgo also associates with daily work practices. The reflex Virgoan response to Piscean sensitivity/dysfunctional symptoms is to analyse what's not functioning well in your interior and exterior systems -your body, your daily practices.
Venus in Taurus is also implicated in this month's pattern: hedonistic urges and eating pleasures in particular are a challenge when trying to pull back to a more sensible way of operating & eating.
Uranus linked to Venus offers a new start or change in sensory habits and food indulgences.

So this combo looks like offering many the opportunity to take stock of eating choices and begin a new healthier regime. If food sensuality is not your thing, look at where else you are indulgent and consider a more moderate approach. With Venus in Taurus the 5 senses of taste, touch, smell, sight and hearing are implicated either singly or in combination. This translates to a strongly physical-material attachment which is incompatible with the Virgo-Pisces energies - even though Virgo is an earthy sign, in association with Pisces the "chaste nun" traits of the maiden are activated,  resulting in a yearning for purity via detachment from physical/material baggage. So a rejection of gross materialism, clearing out clutter, living more modestly are possible outcomes under this influence.


Pluto and Jupiter have a flowing connection -  which for those in appropriate circumstances has the potential to result in fortunate career benefits such as a pay rise, a promotion, an attractive new career contract with fringe benefits.

Also noting that solar activity has been exceptionally magnetically active in the period from March 4 2012 and coronal mass ejections of charged particles, subsequent to significant flares, have already from March 4 activated auroral activity, which is a sign of increased charge in our earth's magnetic field. This is all occurring in the buildup phase of this March 2012 full moon and may result in notable behaviour extremes in biological systems. ( Human and animal behaviour aggravated) One theory I am developing relates to the impact of disturbed earth electromagnetism on global sharemarkets.
In addition Mars is particularly close to earth in early March 2012 which is an energizer and activator. With Mar's connection to the adrenal glands, the potential exists for those most affected to experience heightened irritability, impatience, anger or aggression. Mars is also in Virgo which could give enrgy for cleaning and clearing or simply doing what needs to be done to start new slimmed down projects. If aggravated or frustrated though, Mars in Virgo is picky, fussy and critical.
At the very least you may feel like tidying, cleaning, organising or analysing something! [my examples - organising, filing (Virgo) large number of digital photos (Pisces) to tidy up computer hard drive; painting (Pisces) and paint stripping (Virgo]

This full moon has coincided with continual solar flaring ongoing to this date and had the most powerful event (X flare) resulted in a "plug-in" to earth's magnetic environment on March 8 (noon Universal time UT) then the global impact would have been elevated. Nonetheless subsequent persistent flaring and the magnetic flip south of the solar wind has permitted "plug-in' conditions since 23:00 hr on March 9.

The flaring & subsequent intensifying of earth's magnetic environment is likely to amplify full moon effects and this also includes the proximity of Mars to earth, getting caught up in the charged flow. 
Watch for fires, explosions (charged Mars energy) in the news -several fires already noted in New Zealand March 10 as well as other examples of over-heated aggressive behaviour.

February 2012 New Moon in Pisces: Realities. Responsibilities.

New Moon effects can build from around three days before exactitude

 and may be triggered within the lunar month ahead.

Certain people/places/events are more accentuated than others due to individual resonance with the prevailing pattern. Personal birth chart analysis is needed to see if this month's effects are impacting you personally in a significant way in addition to universal themes in operation. 

 This New Moon (21st in UK or may be 22 Feb in your location) in Pisces is accentuated by Neptune also now in early Pisces,  Uranus in early Aries, as well as Saturn's connection to Neptune.

Pisces is our potential for humanitarian, compassionate and universal spiritual connectedness. When those channels are blocked or poorly formed, illumination is masked by degradation: the suffocated human spirit manifests through all manner of escapist, fantasy-ridden and addictive activities, ranging from drugs and alcohol to gaming and pornography addictions and living a low-life opportunistic existence where fraud, deceit and crimes of dishonesty prevail.

Our challenge is to extract ourselves from the siren calls of the lower realms of Neptune/Pisces and to listen to the purity of the spiritual dimensions of life found through the natural world as well as our own human potential for goodness.

Humanity en masse is a far way off being balanced towards the good in each of us, but a start is to be made during the longer term Neptune in Pisces passage, which extends until 2025. This month's new Moon is a flicker, a little step forward but there are conflicts and complications to resolve.

Uranus in Aries will raise issues of - what about me? The part of us that wants the collective to improve, can also be afraid of personal losses or sacrifices, of being overlooked, or being victim enough to feel a little cheated by the suggestion of looking after others. So there is a conflict there, perhaps a rebellion, a need to be a bit selfish that may arise when faced with a pressure or opportunity to help others or show some extra kindness. Even just a flicker of resentment.  Aries is a child-like stage in the psychological unfoldment of the soul, whereas Pisces is the last stage in the cycle before rebirth.  This type of conflict can be seen in elderly with long unmet needs who still carry child-like hurts and anger.
Saturn in Libra  brings the added dimension of a nurturing, parental and guiding voice to the issues of compassion and kindness. The Saturn energy is capable of generating in people, a mature response, as you would observe in a well developed, unconflicted adult. It seems we have few role models in this respect, in western society where parents can behave as immaturely as their children. Nevertheless there do exist well-balanced adults, raised with the right ingredients by caring and mature parents.  This mature parental and guiding archetype is bringing an important aspect to the humanitarian drive of Neptune(especially January-February 2012) in respect of how to relate in that sort of way to people on a collective, compassionate, humanitarian level. This many lead some to be very philanthropic or charitable - to set up trusts, donate funds etc to assist people in need. For others it could be a mentoring or support role that is taken up with a clear sense of trying to help, to be a responsible citizen, to see what you as an individual might be able to do to contribute to the betterment of our world, even by a small effort. My personal example is providing this free online service and guidance, to enable people to make more sense of our rapidly changing existence, to see how astrology provides a template for analysing patterns of energy and to understand the larger collective evolutionary forces that unfold in our world.

Those who are not ready for the ultimate opportunities offered by this New Moon are likely to deal at the very least with issues regarding the needs of the self vs needs of others and/or addressing more reality factors vs fantasy or illusions regarding a partner - starting to see who that person actually is, rather than a false impression that has served up till now; starting to see the real nature of a relationship instead of being in denial.
So realities and responsibilities figure prominently in respect of others, whether that is one-to-one in your private life or on the larger collective level.
Here is the chart for Christchurch New Zealand since this New Moon coincides with the anniversary of the M6.3 destructive quake which happened in 2011 at 12.51pm  -one in over 10,000 in the region since the September 4 2010 sequence unfolded in west Canterbury.

With the New Moon encased at literally at the midpoint of Neptune & Chiron, this brings a deluge of sentiment, compassion and empathy to the fore in the context of personal, local, national and global circumstances. For Christchurch it is about the suffering of those who have lost people, lost communities and lost lifestyles and who may find some spiritual peace through collective, public ceremonies. As religious and spiritual perspectives are always brought to the fore in times of this kind of crisis, this will be a time for those connected to Christchurch to ponder their beliefs. for some this may make them question mainstream teachings about the work of god, for others it may strengthen their need for that form of communion. The hand of nature has a powerful role to play as well in altering people's perception of reality, their relationship to life and their overall state of mind.
Pluto in strong connection to Venus-Uranus  indicates the powerfully changed relationships affecting many already in Christchurch as well as indicated globally in this lunar month.
Saturn in Libra strongly placed on the horizontal axis reinforces in Christchurch the significance of the comments made earlier. In addition this placement brings forth the reality factor of the loss of a loved one. Their death was real and now that truth or fact is confronted.

This lunar month does indicate both the spiritual dimensions and the grief associated with loss. With Pisces-Neptune emphasised there is potential for a significant tragic event involving water especially in a maritime context.

The 2012 phase of renewal: society, politics, environment

During the six year period 2011-2016 we will experience perhaps the greatest period of global social, political, economic and  environmental transformation known on our planet.

2012 marks a significant phase in this unfoldment which extends over several years.
 It is the sheer depth and breadth of change awaiting us that makes this era unprecedented.
Long-term tectonic-type readjustment  (which is also replicated geophysically via plate movement & seismicity) of social, cultural and political practices is assisted by technological networking on a scale never before possible in a phase of revolutionary momentum.
Now global awareness is set to increase exponentially regarding our planetary relationship within the larger systemic network - habitually dominated by our mega-star, the sun, but also home to a gargantuan cosmic environment.
For the purpose of this explanation, two factors operating in the geo-effective space environment set the scene for massive transformations in the given 6 year period of their tight alignment.

In the cosmic web earth sits amongst, magnetic field lines distribute resonances across vast distances of space. The energetic forces generated by Pluto and Uranus are known to have profound, long lasting and transformational effects.

Their current dynamic phase involving a tension-generating 90 degree alignment indicates that the creation of global change will be full of challenges, discord, upheaval, resistance versus repression - as two world views, the old versus the new -  stand off against each other, in a replication of evolution seen countless times before on the face of the earth as well as within it.
The greatest emphasis, for those with personal birth chart data, ranges in the band from 4 to 18 degrees and is expressed through the energetic profiles of four signs:
                                       ARIES LIBRA, CANCER, CAPRICORN
These are called the Cardinal group and significantly, they correspond astronomically to the four seasonal markers at the solstice and equinox points in March, July, September and December - created for us on earth by the relative position of the earth in orbit around the Sun. A simplified view, not to scale, illustrates this.

In addition the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn shown on globes and in atlas maps indicate the band astride the earth's equator where the sun moon and planets have their astronomical passages in respect of our planet. Put simply, this points to the importance of this group of four signs in the structure of earth's relationship to the rest of the cosmos.
NASA and other scientists are already anticipating a long term cooling effect on earth due to an exceptional solar minimum unfolding in coming years, so the profound issues are not limited to human society.
A summary of the wide-ranging shifts we face signifiantly in this 6 year period would have to include the following, based on the signatures of the four cardinal indicators:
The fundamentals of human society and how it is structured and administered, from all levels of government, to business and the bedrock level of the family unit.
Personal and business relationships - the nature of marriage, parnerships
The role of the individual in the context of the whole
Parenting issues
Matters relating to homes, housing and habitats
Work-life balance
Personal careers, public life versus private life
Ambition versus nurturing
The economy, financial manmagement, budgeting, personal and public spending
Environmental issues ranging from resources & pollution to seismicity, volcanism, weather & climate
The state of change affecting our larger home, planet earth

June 2012 sees the first exact point of connection between Pluto at 8.24 degrees Capricorn and Uranus at 8.24 degrees Aries, but the winds of change are already in progress.
Those born on or closely around March 28, June 29, Sept 30, Dec 30, any year have this pattern applying extreme pressure since at least the start of 2012 ( in terms of their birth sun position.) Individual analysis will show any other planets under the gamma-rays of this duo.
(It barely needs to be stated that the Arab Spring, events in Syria and Greece represent just the starting point of this long-term Pluto-Uranus process)

A new start is neded for humanity which is intrinsically connected to evolutionary change affecting our planet. Significantly historic times are not just what you study in school. Some of us get to live through them and this era ranks very highly in terms of living on a planet in change in a dynamic universe.

With the May 12-13 weekend marking a resurgence in global Occupy protests about system failure (you probably heard very little via mainstream media) be assured that this point in time is very powerful in terms of setting the future agenda for change ...that will topple leaders and their corrupt regimes across the world during the next 4 years in particular.
