Astrologers are anticipating something significant to unfold regarding money, assets, markets and economies -starting significantly in 2018 and spreading over the period of Uranus in Taurus

Change, new conditions, disruption, upheaval, sudden reversals, new inventions are all within the realm of outcomes associated with the energy of Uranus. When that energy is associated with Taurus the focus shifts to survival and security - aspects of life closely associated with money, economies, assets, property and possessions in general. Taurus is also your food supply -what you eat or consume as fuel and nutrition for your body.

Taurus is very materialistic energy and related to physical sensory properties. Taurus collects, accumulates, holds onto and can be greedy.

Uranus is the complete opposite -it is energy itself, electromagnetic, electrical, stuff we mostly cannot see -unless its discharged as lightning or an electrical spark. It's digital, it's invisible waves carrying information, it's data.

Where Taurus collects Uranus prefers to be free of - so the trend towards minimalising and de-cluttering is a forewarning of the energy that Uranus will bring to Taurus type dispositions.

Taurus is all about value and the glorification of expensive and designer goods, real estate, cars etc.

Uranus is set to devalue a lot of these objects of worship. This process has been underway in advance due to mass forging and copyright theft allowing global markets to be flooded with fake designer wear & devices.

The dismantling of monopolies [greedy corporates] is also likely under these conditions as more competition arises through fair means or foul.

Changes in the nature of money are clearly in process - in some cases cash being increasingly seen as antiquated. Cash does not suit the banking system due to its lack of traceability. It also cannot be wiped out in a single stroke in the way that digital bank balances can be. It is clear that banks have been enabled to shift most people onto the digital economy and crypto-currencies are a clear development to extend this process. Expect much more virtual developments in the realm of what constitutes money in the decades ahead.

With ongoing concern since the last financial crisis that global threats to economic stability remain threatening many in the field regularly anticipate the straw that will break the camel's back.

In early April 2018 financial analyst Ann Pettifor gave her take on current conditions:

The specifics of what will change for individuals are varied but knowing why this is happening can give some pointers as to dealing with what's ahead.

Energy shifts are continually in process and they signify major collective experiences that bring about new understandings of how to find balance and be more attuned to natural flows and cycles.

Humanity's biggest weakness stems from feeling an ownership and control of nature and natural forces. This intense degree of ignorance leads not only to wars and environmental devastation. It leads to species annihilation and the mass deaths, torture and various forms of enslavement of humanity.

Extreme survivalist agendas place all of us and our environment in peril. The only way forward is recognition of our collective needs as humans being balanced with the maintenance of a healthy productive home planet. 

All human agendas relating to dominance and control of people, other species, resources and environments are past their use-by date and the evidence of this will be repeatedly evident during this coming decade.

The evidence is not likely to come gently though. The results of widespread abusive behaviours which have collective consequences are manifesting through contaminated water sources, through stockpiled waste, through devastating weather that rips away lives and lifestyles. These warnings are accumulating but the end result is not likely to be sudden willing conversions to a change of perspective on greed and abuse. It usually takes tough tough lessons in the form of a reversal of fortune, suffering through loss. This too has already been arising frequently due to the numbers affected by violent weather but failure to understand the connection of the natural world's imbalance as a reflection of the general state of humanity means progress is slow, awareness is limited and people continue to perform the same behaviours that got us here. Until they no longer can. Until something very significant changes. Until all their assets are lost. Until the food supply is cut off.

We are living in very uncertain times requiring well thought out strategies in case of significant socio-economic changes.

Extreme outcomes are definitely within the realm of possibility for increasing numbers of people. It becomes a personal choice whether to anticipate and try to mitigate possible impacts. 

Save more. Grow more. Reduce debt. Sell. Adapt to change. Reduce risk. Say no to greed. Treat the earth with kindness.

Mercury in Taurus links to Neptune - the shady or secretive financial dealings or discussions continue but this is the start of the key week when Uranus officially shifts out of Aries into Taurus. 

Indicators suggest this is when the cat gets out of the bag.

Saturn in Capricorn connects to the lunar nodes - in the signs linked to Sun and Uranus -both in Taurus  -Saturn is the voice of governments, banks, politicians, governments, industry leaders as well as wise old people and those with a moral conscience.

With May 15 being New Moon, new beginning Sun and Moon in Taurus when Uranus sets its plans in place for all things Taurus and Mars in Aquarius sets a challenge with its square to Uranus and Jupiter is close to trining Neptune this complex mix of change, accountability, sudden developments, something out of left field, possibly lots of confusion -we're hanging on to see what manifests out of this astrological weather pattern.

The north Node is in Leo and so connects to Sun then in Taurus = money/asset dramas. The range of possibilities could easily involve sharemarket meltdowns,  company crashes, economic failures, seismic shifts in monetary stability.

Before everyone on the Right starts ordering the booze and the Left sink into a deeper state of frustration.... a more in depth profile for John Key is being compiled with his  53rd birthday approaching and since he is currently being promoted in a  biography it is topical to add further perspectives on the person who plans to have an extended impact on the state of our nation.
Recent analysis reveals that in this pre-election period significant challenges and opposing forces will arise for him starting in July and extending into the run-up to September 20.

What is strikingly evident is that few people who visit the site want to leave their footprints. Bizarrely, ancient knowledge and practices have become the most taboo of subjects in a world awash with many flavours of degradation

From a Buddhist perspective, it is the karma of humans to be so lost in ignorance, so our evolution beyond the degenerate condition to a more enlightened state will take a very long time.

Nigella & Saatchi - the Uranus-Pluto Effect

No astrological data can be located for the embattled couple Charles Saatchi & Nigella Lawson but their birthdates alone are revealing.
Both have Saturn closely conjunct the Sun - he in Gemini [ideas, the mind], she in Capricorn [earthy,driven] - providing significant business ambition and career prominence

Both have lots of fiery energy -Leo and Aries for Charles
Mainly Sagittarius for Nigella
Both have fire Moons, Venus and Mars so tempestuous relating is a given
Both Charles and Nigella have a Venus intensified by Pluto - creating a risk of obsessive, controlling behaviour in relating to others -or being subjected to partners of this type [Charles Venus conjunct Pluto; Nigella Venus square Pluto]
Charles' Uranus is opposite Nigella's Venus & so square her Pluto - emphasising a volatility & likelihood of sudden changes in the relationship.

All relationships are karmic encounters. People meet up again to try to further resolve their credits and debits to each other. Maybe it all seems like a repeat and nothing much has shifted.

It will be groundhog day next life if the settlements are not resolved to the agreement of both parties.

Both Nigella and Charles have a planet in close conjunction to the other's present life "destiny".

Charles' Neptune is a combination of the energy of Pisces-Virgo which can result in people with significant digestive sensitivities and therefore fussy, critical eaters.
This gives grounds for conflict over loose [Pisces] versus highly analysed [Virgo] practices which both Charles and Nigella may have alternately been prone to  - or the distinction could be very much polarized in terms of roles.

When Saturn, Uranus and Pluto are in the room the party is not a light affair.
In 2013 the north lunar node moving through Scorpio, joined by Saturn has moved in range and passed over Nigella's Neptune over several months from September.

Neptune and Scorpio are both notoriously secretive. Together they have potential to include both illicit drug use and illicit sexual behaviour - or at the very least a highly imaginative fantasy sex life.

Uranus and Pluto are toppling people and systems across the world as they embark on a process that was last experienced globally in the mid 1960's.
This is an era of great upheaval in people's lives but far more intense than in the flower power era of social change.
This time the issue of the use and abuse of power is very much to the fore and many have already fallen in sex scandals since this is a common territory for abusers or in political or financial mismanagement.
For others, widespread natural disasters have overturned their normal life in an act of rebalancing.
We all have to work out what we need to change.
Pluto and Uranus have been hovering around 9 degrees in the cardinal signs Capricorn and Aries so anyone born late Dec-early Jan, late March-early April, late June-early July, late Sept-early October = in any year are bearing the full brunt of the pressure to make major life changes -or have them made for you by an external force or person

Both Charles and Nigella are in the direct path of these forces:
Charles' Mars is at 9 Aries.
He needs to resolve the changes he needs to make by March 2014
Likely issues are about use of energy that expresses as selfish, aggressive, impatient, angry. 
Effects for him are not as enduring as for Nigella
Nigella's Saturn is at 10 Capricorn linked to Sun at 15 Capricorn.
Her Sun at 15 CAP remains under pressure for another 4 years [due to the Saturn-Sun link having a midpoint of 12 CAP], with Pluto activating the 15 CAP point in space closely & exactly in 2015-2016
Uranus at 15 Aries is further pressure for Nigella to change in 2014-2015
The Sun in a woman's chart is symbolic of the male archetypes she is relating to.
Working on father issues is a good starting point.

Every Moment Changes. Why?

A moment frozen in time

Every Moment Changes. Stop a moment and take note. Even if you are in an isolation chamber with extreme reduction in sensory information, there will be indicators of continual change in every moment. Even if your heart beat and your breathing remain apparently constant to your perceptions, your mind will struggle to maintain any length of focus. Your body is engaged in constantly changing processes, mainly beyond your awareness, until a pain, a pressure, an itch, a pleasure arises. Every moment changes.
In your daily world if you pause while immersed in everyday input, you can observe the run of conversation or audio sound, the variations in the breeze, the random dog barking, birds in motion, traffic and how from moment to moment one or another rises then subsides providing a morphing soup of sounds and visions
I know of only two explanations that work in terms of explaining why every moment is different from all others. One is Buddhist philosophy, with karma being the determining cause of all conditions arising and dissolving. The other is astrology -  and the two perspectives have much in common.
Astrology is a language for the interpretation of energetic patterns which are identified at the time of a person's birth. Karma is the sum of conditions that relate to a person at each moment in time and at the point of birth can be identified in a person's astrological birth chart.
Karma changes continually, as does the birth chart - since the planetary energies are in constant cycles with perpetual variability in relationship to each other. An astrological analysis made at any point in a person's life identifies what changes exist at that point in relationship to the original astrological or karmic template pictured at the start of life as a separate being, i.e. birth. Astrology can also look at pre-birth conditions from the conception phase and during gestation to look at (karmic) imprints received via the mother and her experiences. Fascinating stuff.  Yet so few on this earth have the blessing (karma) of understanding the depth and capacity of astrology to provide self understanding and that of others.
The other Buddhist concept ignorance prevails in terms of how astrology has been denigrated, misunderstood and maligned - largely via misinformation through media sources and where far more emphasis is given to pop astrology - where simplistic or fun readings are made into a weekly column.
The use of astrological knowledge is more likely than not to have been a universal human practice since ancient times and in western culture the most dramatic shift occurred when Christianity first absorbed then rejected any ancient knowledge of this type which could be seen to challenge or threaten the Church. Centuries of this type of thinking have sidelined astrology in the West, while Eastern and tribal cultures are likely to maintain their practices.

The merging of East and West is a phenomenon in process on many levels in this age, as an important method of balancing. The more that westerners can embrace ancient & Eastern philosophies, the greater wholeness of mind and spirit can be achieved. It is a two way process as well, with western influences spreading across the globe.

This June 2012 full moon is another close perigee = Supermoon as defined by Richard Nolle.
The perigee, exact full moon and moon in extreme south declination all occur in close combination - and very soon to be followed by the transit of Venus across the sun on June 5-6. This transit adds to the last eclipse indicators re a shift away from dominant masculine power towards greater prominence of the feminine - less yang more yin. The time to assert far greater female equality is also very relevant.

[update June 5: With the weekend of celebration re Britain's Queen Elizabeth's 60 year reign - Diamond Jubilee coinciding with the Venus transit it is timely to note that her popularity has perhaps never been higher. This contrasts with the widespread contemporary distaste people have for governments and their style of management. A strong example of the shift in male-female power dynamics]

Michael Erlewine, using his tidal force tables also attributes a 93-94% pull being in force between June 3-6 2012.  These combined factors considered, seismic activity is expected to increase under these conditions.

UK London chart chosen on account of the Queen's Jubilee -shows Jupiter ( optimism, confidence) in Taurus (steadfast, fundamental values)  most elevated - and at a time when the great transformer, Pluto is exact on the, also elevated, Sun, the Royal signifier in this context. Britain's chart set for 1066 shows the prominence of Royalty and tradition (Capricorn) - to this nation. A rebirth of Royal devotion looks likely, since they, as a family represent the supportive and good service aspects of a benign nation far more than the role played by governments -especially amidst austere times.
With Uranus in the mix, set to tighten its strain on the status quo in the UK [ as well as across the globe whereever change is overdue] the question arises whether the Queen will decide to end her reign within the year.

Christchurch New Zealand selected for the lunar eclipse at 11.11pm June 4 2012 -though this is taken as representative of NZ in general for this event. [seismic activity has been ongoing in this region since the first, unexpected sequence on unknown faults occurred on Sept  4 2010]

A Neptunian tragedy
Neptune-Pisces connects strongly to water -  but also to drugs, alcohol, oil, gas, chemicals, toxicity, sensitivities, allergies. Any or several of these are likely to be implicated in painful events including deaths, in this lunar eclipse time frame [ can be triggered by other elements, days before exactitude & potentially active up to next lunar eclipse in 6mnths] 
For Christchurch, this signature is based on the Neptune-Chiron placement at the AC (ascendant) - all in Pisces and with Pluto joining the energy of Scorpio (MC) via tight sextile to Chiron. The associated  dimension of a powerful spiritual healing for some involved in such an event.

1. With tight contacts between Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars there are relationship and gender tensions over beliefs, ideas, thoughts, comments, opinions, philosophies - a significant male-female divide exposed over when men think versus the female opinion or even just yin versus yang - parenting, work/life balance, home life vs career life, are sure to be newsworthy [ in NZ]  in this lunar month.
In general, universally & globally, a notable theme this month is about conflict, a clash of beliefs, arguments over details; news and media content criticised.
Mature, mediated conversations are the remedy; resolving differences through mediation - this applies as much on a personal level as in business and public domains.  Collectively we need to permit the process of resolution, peace-making, diplomacy to settle our differences - or face perpetual hellish scenarios in a world gone insane.
[update June 11 the eclipse has brought forth in NZ the issue of educational philosophy - perfectly reflecting Gemini-Sagittarius. Much dissent - via the stressor Mars - followed a proposed government policy for schools. People power, via the Pluto-Uranus square - enabled a government backdown 

2. Gemini-Sagittarius both involve movement as in local trips, distant travel, walking, driving, various forms of transport. With Mars in tension - speed, arguments can be the source of travel accidents. Mars is fire energy and so can be associated with transport problems, vehicle combustion.

New Zealand had over 800 vehicle crashes, with 7 fatalities in the holiday weekend period June 2-4 - way in excess of the stats for April 2012 Easter long weekend. The road Police are mystified. There was a full moon supermoon in effect on the Easter weekend from April 6-8, but the themes of that event did not suggest a hi profile for transport disasters aggravated by Mars as is event for the June  4 eclipse.
Extra heavy snow fell on central South Island's Canterbury region, with Christchurch experiencing the "heaviest snow in living memory", including snow at sea-level on beaches. The result has been widespread transport disruption on June 6-7, affecting roads and air travel. Water - frozen in the form of ice and snow has been the prime factor, leading also to power outages [ 1700 homes in Canterbury by morning of Jun 7]. Schools & other educators have been closed on June 6 in Canterbury and the bus transport system shut down in Christchurch. Temperatures dropped to -11C in rural west Canterbury at Darfield.
Mountain passes across the region have been closed & many highways closed.
Postal delivery - another Gemini domain -suspended in Chch June 7. 

In other locations surface flooding from heavy rain (Greymouth, NZ and water has been problematic on Australia's eastern seaboard: wild surf in Sydney from the supertides. In east of Victoria state, Australia, the Gippsland Lakes are posing a flood crisis after huge rainfall ]



With Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Aries moving tighter and tighter to an exact 90 degree right angle relationship in June, this represents maximum tension between 2 very contrary forces, though both have revolutionary potentials.
The psychological achetypes related to the signs of Capricorn and Aries are being majorly readjusted amongst humanity to correct imbalances [Saturn in Libra holds this card]
Where Capricorn is the elder and mature component of our psyche, Aries is the raw selfish child; Capricorn represents the clan or family component; Aries is the individual. These two often opposing drives towards the needs of self vs the common good have to be better balanced. We have swung way to far into the territory of selfish children.

Saturn's influence is in the mix in order to facilitate this process of change on the level of responsible relating amongst humans in all spheres of social activity  - from domestic to public, national and international contexts. We all need to do better, be better and as an example of this, the most pressing & unavoidable truth is to manage monetary behaviour in a more adult fashion, as indicated by global, national and personal financial pressures necessitating the hand of Saturn in terms of fiscal restraint.

Capricorn represent societal structure, governments and authorities [ in loco parentis] and in many nations, governmental management has had the hallmarks of dysfunctional parenting for way too long.  This generates a failure of the system to do as intended - to provide the right conditions for citizens to live a productive and healthy life. Operating a national economy that ensures good food, meaningful employment, suitable housing, efficient infrastructure and supportive services is the fundamental task of government. This is a struggle now not only in the Third World, but across First World nations - proof that radical restructuring is required. This process, thankfully, has already, though slowly begun - and will continue intensely in the period of coming years.  This is indeed an historic era to be living through but the transition will not be smooth, nor easy.
Expect to see some clear examples of the process of socio-political-economic change repeatedly in the news  - some signs will relate to policies and beliefs, some to rebellion & upheaval, some to end of era indicators, some to significant deaths and falls from grace.

The 2012 phase of renewal: society, politics, environment

During the six year period 2011-2016 we will experience perhaps the greatest period of global social, political, economic and  environmental transformation known on our planet.

2012 marks a significant phase in this unfoldment which extends over several years.
 It is the sheer depth and breadth of change awaiting us that makes this era unprecedented.
Long-term tectonic-type readjustment  (which is also replicated geophysically via plate movement & seismicity) of social, cultural and political practices is assisted by technological networking on a scale never before possible in a phase of revolutionary momentum.
Now global awareness is set to increase exponentially regarding our planetary relationship within the larger systemic network - habitually dominated by our mega-star, the sun, but also home to a gargantuan cosmic environment.
For the purpose of this explanation, two factors operating in the geo-effective space environment set the scene for massive transformations in the given 6 year period of their tight alignment.

In the cosmic web earth sits amongst, magnetic field lines distribute resonances across vast distances of space. The energetic forces generated by Pluto and Uranus are known to have profound, long lasting and transformational effects.

Their current dynamic phase involving a tension-generating 90 degree alignment indicates that the creation of global change will be full of challenges, discord, upheaval, resistance versus repression - as two world views, the old versus the new -  stand off against each other, in a replication of evolution seen countless times before on the face of the earth as well as within it.
The greatest emphasis, for those with personal birth chart data, ranges in the band from 4 to 18 degrees and is expressed through the energetic profiles of four signs:
                                       ARIES LIBRA, CANCER, CAPRICORN
These are called the Cardinal group and significantly, they correspond astronomically to the four seasonal markers at the solstice and equinox points in March, July, September and December - created for us on earth by the relative position of the earth in orbit around the Sun. In addition the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn shown on globes and in atlas maps indicate the band astride the earth's equator where the sun moon and planets have their astronomical passages in respect of our planet. Put simply, this points to the importance of this group of four signs in the structure of earth's relationship to the rest of the cosmos.
NASA and other scientists are already anticipating a long term cooling effect on earth due to an exceptional solar minimum unfolding in coming years, so the profound issues are not limited to human society.
A summary of the wide-ranging shifts we face signifiantly in this 6 year period would have to include the following, based on the signatures of the four cardinal indicators:
The fundamentals of human society and how it is structured and administered, from all levels of government, to business and the bedrock level of the family unit.
Personal and business relationships - the nature of marriage, parnerships
The role of the individual in the context of the whole

June 2012 sees the first exact point of connection between Pluto at 8.24 degrees Capricorn and Uranus at 8.24 degrees Aries, but the winds of change are already in progress.
Those born on or closely around March 28, June 29, Sept 30, Dec 30, any year have this pattern applying extreme pressure since at least the start of 2012 ( in terms of their birth sun position.) Individual analysis will show any other planets under the gamma-rays of this duo.
(It barely needs to be stated that the Arab Spring, events in Syria and Greece represent just the starting point of this long-term Pluto-Uranus process)

A new start is neded for humanity which is intrinsically connected to evolutionary change affecting our planet. Significantly historic times are not just what you study in school. Some of us get to live through them and this era ranks very highly in terms of living on a planet in change in a dynamic universe.

- looks like very rough & tough for many. We are about to face a tough four years when an energy pattern not seen since the 1930's will bring dramatic changes to the lives of many around the world.

• Uranus and Pluto are set to turn the world upside down both literally and figuratively during a phase of readjustment which affects people and places.
• We know so much has to change in order for a better world to develop. Many imbalances have to be rectified so that the extremes of too much and too little cease to devastate the planet and people's lives.
•  Already we have started to experience the foreshadowing of what is to come due to early interactions between these two planetary energies setting the scene for the tide of change to come more emphatically - political unrest, economic austerity and conditions of social adversity. 
• The Occupy movement has made a start in publicising the need for equity and fair practices, but despite this, corruption related to money is rampant

1. All energy patterns occur within an electromagnetic matrix that exists throughout the universe.
2.  For any prevailing energy pattern to affect someone -whether actively by triggering a behaviour or passively by attracting a behaviour - the person will have a resonant or matching vibrational pattern aligned to the vibrational frequency of the planetary energy.

Some flexibility is needed re the dates which means that effects can occur on or around the dates specified because highly specific info can only be provided when individual birth time-date-place data is provided.
For the same reason this data cannot cover all the birthdates of people affected - having the Moon or other planets like Mercury, Venus, Mars etc in one of the target degrees will result in obvious effects. 
(You need a personal astrological birth chart analysis to  know this.) 

The keys signs of the Uranus-Pluto pattern are Aries and Capricorn but Libra and Cancer are intrinsically implicated being the rest of the cardinal sign group.  Bodily stresses for this whole Cardinal sign group include head injury or injury from weapons; issues with blood, fever, bones, knees, teeth, kidneys and stomach.

The 8th harmonic group is fixed signs Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio -with body weaknesses being heart, circulation, throat, thyroid, neck, sex organs, reproductive/fertility issues.

So internal stresses -bodily - are equally possible effects -  as are outward stresses for an individual -eg those involving their environment, locality, nation and the world at large.

New Structures is the necessity of this planetary pattern. 
To create something new can mean the old must be destroyed, replaced, deconstructed, remodelled, transformed, possibly annihilated. 
Radical changes are likely to be commonplace in order to break with the past, tradition, old habits and practices. Resistance to change will also be evident and people in the 8th harmonic group -the Fixed zodiac signs are most likely to passionately avoid going with the flow willingly.
