Recognising the resonance between 9º and 24º or 10º and 25º these examples point out some golden detail:

This pattern can be found in many lunation sequences - look both ways from an eclipse reference point as in the following example - I noticed the pattern some time ago but only just exploring it in recent hours and as I type -examples can be seen in the ephemeris where a lunar eclipse falls before the closest solar - eg Feb 2017 where 22.5 LEO lunar eclipse at FM will resonate with 7.5 CAN NM March 28 2017  and also backwards to Oct 2016 NM 8.2 LIB and Dec 2016 NM 8 CAP

These examples show the complexity of connections between events - sometimes linking to the Moon sometimes the Sun & either forward or backwards in time - raising important thoughts about the meaninglessness of constructed time

Renowned astrological figure Dane Rudhyar  (1895-1985 ) had a lot to say about phases of the Moon as a signifier of inherent potentials to live a meaningful life

Rudhyar considered that we are stamped at birth with the energy of the solar-lunar phase. He placed more emphasis on this than zodiac signs.

Though as explained the Moon alone has no independent phase - it is a phase relationship with the Sun.

From reading Rudhyar the significance of his insights can be expanded into the territory of spiritual meaning underlying these two major cosmic influences.

On that basis an extended context of interpretation and explanation has been added here in some respects to his fundamental work.

The Sun is King in our little cosmic zone and the Moon is responding in service to the impulses dispatched by the Sun. 

It is a Yin Yang dynamic interplay because the contributions enabled by the activity of the Moon are fed back into the collective realm of consciousness that the Sun can be seen to orchestrate. Therefore a feedback loop is in effect.

Rudyhar says the solar energy is being released into and through the Moon as a new life impulse.

The Moon itself has no true phases so it is a term of convenience. The Moon is a reflector of light and the light reflection shape and quality varies through the lunar month. The change in light reflection is 100% relevant to the type of solar impulse carried.

With there being 8 lunation types - related to the illumination state of the Moon varying from New Moon to New Moon.

Each of us responds to a particular lunation type -and at each New Moon we have our distinct way of responding to the the type of life impulse generated by the Sun at New Moon.

Each period lasts around 3.5 days.

Because of the pulling power when the sun and moon align it is resonable to expect that someone born within around a day before New or Full Moon will manifest the impulse related to that period -so the boundary line in those contexts is likely to be more fluid than 100% fixed - example: a person in the last day of the waning crescent could show New Moon qualities in addition to those for the waning crescent

The sign energy at New Moon provides factors relevant to a natal chart [where and how]  the solar impulse wants to express. The timing of that expression may peak in the person’s natal moon phase period - but the qualities identified for the moon phase are likely to be engaged as the Moon strengthens -from the window opening 3 days before exact New Moon. Then the following polarity [Full Moon] energy is likely to integrate impulses developed at and during the New to Full moon period.

We each have a Lunation Birthday worth noting withing the period of around 3-4 days - when our birth phase repeats during each lunar month - and this can be calculated more precisely to match how many degrees of separation existed from the prior New Moon before the Solar birthday.

In this context of the solar-lunar dynamic the Moon is in charge of managing everyday world functioning in our physical material dimension.

On that basis the Moon is a regulator of tidal forces that permeate the physical and electrical/energetic/ethereal bodies affecting all of our ins and outs ups and downs in mental emotional hormonal nutritional overal body-chemical environments as well as the chakras and spiritual layers.

The lunar body is intended to serve the solar purpose.

The solar purpose is collective evolutionary and based on spiritual consciousness regarding our common source: our inherent connections to all beings, all of life.

The Moon functions to enable greater awareness of that underlying dimension of reality and therefore to behave and engage with the whole of life -people animals nature knowing we are connected.

The phase types from New to Full Moon are primarily around the motivators of personal behaviour.

At Full Moon the results of that behaviour are ready for assessment - have the results been fruitful or detrimental?

Full Moon qualities begin to emerge at the Gibbous period which activates outreach which Full Moon expands even further into relationship building (or termination if appropriate)

The Full to New Moon range is much more strongly involved in behaviours that impact the larger collective.

The sequence from Full Moon based on Rudhyar's ideas is :

The June 10  2021 19 Gemini 47 solar eclipse New Moon falls within my first house and engages my Jupiter-Mars opposition from 1st to 7th as well as the vertical axis in Pisces-Virgo.

My natal lunar type is Gibbous.

Potent New Moon August 2019

August 2019 opens with the New Moon where Leo energy & the Sun itself are in charge but not in a peaceful mood.
Environmentally the fire element is aggravated by Uranus and the consequences affect us physically - effects upon the body from literal heat temperature sun exposure and from excess yang stimulants consumed (food) which cause too much internal heat with resulting anger irritation impatience.
The way through with Leo is always through the heart: so love is trying to rise up over "things" under this New Moon. This is a huge issue in relationships and families where there is a poverty of time and the subsequent impact upon quality. Children given things instead of attention suffer significant anxiety.

The risk of the fire element destoying physical things is elevated from late July and at the start of August.

The fire signs under stress activate issues for Leo Aquarius Taurus and Scorpio. Leo is the Royal sign as well as society's "nobility" - the celebrity class" and so some issues in those realms could arise: related to money spending or assets and a sudden change
Gold is the Leo metal and its value is slowly rising. This month could signify a noticeable increase.

The latest status pet is a big cat: lions are the popular choice but this is not good news for lions.
The Aquarian activation is strong in 2019 in terms of protest and collective activism for change - especially re human environmental impacts but also against the power brokers.
Scorpio is power sex and death themes so we will continue to see all of these very prominent.
Taurus is the Earth the soil and it's products and these are under stress from other elements.

The long-term theme of major issues in politics (power abuse) and domestic life (parenting & housing) remain very significant and are very highlighted under this New Moon period.
Transformational change has to occur in every context illuminated by the August New Moon.  The old thinking old tactics and old power hierarchy has to adjust to the new era. Governments globally need to embrace their role of societal management in terms of social benefit or wellbeing instead of operating primarily from balance sheets and running countries as a profit making business. This change in perspective would enable struggling citizens to live less desperate lives.

Tweet updates below show how Uranus in Taurus square Sun-Moon-Venus in Leo at the early August New Moon quickly manifested multiple intense events: protests wild weather geomagnetic storm and a sharp jolt that lowered sharemarkets. The effect of both Uranus and Jupiter stationing on the same day affected Aug 10-13 extra strongly as both energies are prone to loss of control. Saturn played some role in restraining the wild horse Jupiter energies and if it were not in range in the period the indicators of anarchy rebellion and extreme behaviour in people and natural elements would have been more exaggerated..
August 2019 remains a volatile month with the Full Moon coming quickly after the station period of Jupiter and Uranus. The normally beaming combination of Venus in Leo joining the mid-month Full Moon is complicated by Pluto and Uranus. This clearly reflects shifting power dynamics both in personal relationships and in the larger political context. Now the situation in Hong Kong looks even more intense as freedom and control are in a titanic struggle. Global attention focussed on the Hong Kong situation is to some degree a restraint on mainland China due to the impact upon trade relationships in an already threatening situation with the US and where any further sanctions would be unwanted- especially if other global partners adopted a retaliatory response to any human rights abuses by China against protestors in Hong Kong.
The world is watching and there are red alerts at mid month warning against totalitarian behaviour. This conflict had a lot to say about how we resist the clearly documented rise in anti-democratic regimes since the start of this millennium - being a clear reversal of the rise in democracies that arose from the 1970s until the end of that century.

Profiling Kilauea Volcano Eruption 2018

Indicators are very strong

 for eruptive activity in May 2018 involving the Mt Kilauea Volcano

 on Big Island Hawaii

Signs of an uptick in activity came on April 24 2018 progressing to increased seismic processes by April 30.

On Thursday May 3 the USGS officially acknowledged an eruption event at 4.45pm local time

This activity is of considerable significance in the context of the energies in play during this period in 2018

• The early signs arose on April 24 when Mars, Jupiter and Pluto were in a tightly connected powerful synergy, amplified by Pluto being in stationary retrograde
• Activity proceeded to the point of eruption on May 3 soon after surface cracks were observed
• on Friday May 4 a M6.9 earthquake occurred
• inflationary and deflationary processes have seen  lava in the crater level rise and dramatically fall with the lava then seeking outlets through many fissures
• An eruptive pause occurred on May 8 at 7am with further deflation of the lava levels in the crater while earthquake activity was sustained
• May 8-9-10 has Jupiter in exact opposition to the Sun. This is an amplifying energy, like a full moon tidal effect so greater upticks are likely to be in process with outward effects
• May 11-12-13 has Pluto [the energy most associated with volcanic forces emanating from the underworld & currently in the zodiac sign of the mountain -Capricorn] in a strong flow with the Earth energies of the Sun in Taurus

update May 14 2018: Veteran US astrologer Richard Nolle points out than one of the events in 1924 occurred on the May 18 full Supermoon. His chart [below] for that event also has the fixed signs ruling the chart axes and the fixed sign full moon in Taurus-Scorpio is exactly square the nodal axis in Leo Aquarius [dramatic fireworks from the depths of the earth!]
According to my own theory of major environmental events the dynamic 27/12 pairing is clearly on display in this 1924 eruption -multiple factors [Sun Moon Saturn Nodes] at 27 degrees, Mars, Mercury at 12&13

In 2018 the year's lunations staring in January have featured a string of 27 degree positions including the first supermoon in January. The last relevant lunation before activity started in April was the March combo of New Moon plus Chiron at 27 degrees Pisces and Uranus at 27 Aries with Venus at 12 Aries. This  bundling of energy could easily have been the precursor to what began to unfold from late April. Various dates from mid to late May 2018 hold potential triggers -the New Moon window + further that week = 13th-18th. Then it's also a matter of when Jupiter and Neptune add in the full force of the groundwater factor -Mars could do that on or close to the 18th giving Kilauea a true remembrance day of 1924.

April 2018 begins under the influence of the March 31 Full Moon which has lots of baggage on board - and will flavour the whole month up to the April 30 Full Moon

When the Sun is in Aries the often too pushy, too raw and immature Mars energy is on display in the realm of interacting with others.

Astrological aspects of severe weather
As reported repeatedly on this site the methodology for identifying severe weather -called 27-12 - was used in this prediction. Uranus at 27-28 degrees, lunar nodes at 12-13 degrees prevailed from the start of April and were effective at the prior full moon of March 31 -meaning that the building forces were in process for over a week before Venus reached 12 degrees on April 10. The Moon also would have reached 12 degrees on that day - demonstrably providing all the necessary triggers for the existing forces. Note: the mathematics rule - ahead of qualities relevant to zodiac signs

Perfectly timed for the Aries-Libra full moon of March 31 was the Joshua-Parker heavyweight boxing title match in the UK. Both fighters had strong activations but Joshua born with Saturn in Capricorn was having his Saturn Return - a time when all the hard work can pay off -or not. But going by Anthony Joshua's highly successful boxing career it was more than likely this match would be his.

Many expressed frustration the referee [Saturn] controlled [Saturn] the fight too much, slowing [Saturn] it down. No surprise that the eenrgy of Saturn in Capricorn angled at 90 degrees was strongly impacting the Aries-Libra full moon when the fight occurred.

Aries is signified by the warrior, the battler, the aggressor, the soldier and so any adversarial encounters especially where weaponry is used are typically more prominent in periods of Aries energy as well as when it's related planet Mars is in a strongly activated position.

In people who are not Aries [Sun] or lacking any planet in Aries, the typical combative energy can also be expressed by the opposing zodiac sign Libra or in anyone who has planet Mars emphasised.

Astrology notes for March 2018

An uncomplicated March, mostly dominated by the sensitive and compassionate energy 

of Neptune is not on offer in 2018.

Only within the first week does the Pisces/Neptune energy dominate – Sun, Mercury, Venus, Neptune all in Pisces – but the full moon on the 2nd has Jupiter in Scorpio merging with Mercury and Venus.

Jupiter in Scorpio is such difficult energy to rein in that it typically expresses in serial offending of a sexual nature or a drive for power that can be boundless and annihilating. A person needs advanced self management to channel that extreme capacity into something bearing the energy of healing rather than abusing.

Within 2 days of the Pisces and Scorpio themed full moon former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia were found in a critical condition suffering from suspected poisoning.

Scorpio isn't always lethal but it is often very controlling, suspicious and jealous energy.

The month of March began with Mars sitting adjacent to Pluto, then moving quickly to nudge up alongside Jupiter sequentially gathering all the necessary fuel on board to launch a killer hit.

Cardinal energy courtesy of Saturn already in early Capricorn at the start of March along with Mercury and Venus entering Aries before the end of week one  - adding to the fiery Aries style of Uranus late in its transit of that sign –bolstered as well by Mars in Sagittarius in the weekend of March 10-11. Pluto too is in cardinal Capricorn, effectively at 20-21 degrees all month

This amount of highly activated cardinal energy promises that things will begin –and end, things will be established – and fall apart, things will move at speed – and be stopped in their tracks –much much more action than under a lunar month with dominant Pisces energy.

Mid March looks especially intense.

• Fire [fire literally as well as anger, aggression and high energy] is expressed through 4 planets and the north lunar node from the end of week one and this grouping carries through to the New Moon on the 17^th
• Mars then entering Capricorn joins the cardinal division, soon joined by the Sun at the March 20/21 equinox - entering Aries – adding to Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Pluto – now a total of 6 energies in high activity cardinal signs which hold sway until the end of March.
• The action begins to build from the 11^th when Sun and Pluto link up at the same time as Mars and Uranus and Saturn with Mercury. 

• With powerful forces like Pluto, Uranus and Saturn the benign potentials don’t always get a look in as a first option and sometimes the benefits of these can only be identified in hindsight as their initial disruption, annihilation or deconstruction of life is so much in your face that no other nuanced reading of what’s going on has a chance to arise in consciousness.
• The energy on the 11^th sets up potentially violent/aggressive interactions – or at least angry communications with an underlying power struggle

Jupiter and Venus then have a merging experience in Scorpio-Aries on the 13^th and 14th - at the same time as Saturn and Venus are in mutual antipathy – passionate and consensual for some but high risk and fatal for others. Saturn is a terminating force or at least creating cold, distant, rejection. Some will see the need to end their association; some relationships ended by external forces. Interaction will for many be threaded with stinging aggression on this day.  Best to stay home alone. Or experience this virtually – watching a celluloid enactment – to use up the energy.

New Moon at 27 degrees Pisces on the 17th has Uranus tagged on at 27 Aries. 27 is a known potent degree as this is the position at which the centre of our milky way galaxy rotates -27 Sagittarius – and repeated observations have led The Profiler to a proposition that when planets sit at 27 degrees they perform a step-down of those mega forces at the galactic centre – and consequences are observable in the natural forces and sentient beings here on earth.

Typically there is much disturbance of energies under these conditions –expressing environmentally as severe or extreme weather, extreme human behaviour.

So Venus is strongly involved in the Sun-Moon-Uranus combined energies.

• Environmentally the disturbance is always about unbalanced natural forces –which cannot be separated from human imbalances and extremes as both planes of existence are in mutual feedback.
• Our behaviour towards each other is worsening our environment far more than through observable and measurable pollution.

• All four forces of nature are activated strongly in March: Fire through Aries and Mars, Earth through Saturn, Wind/Air through Uranus and Neptune influencing Water - and so where the balances are not in place then any or all of these can be eruptive, violent, excessive, destructive. 

Knowing the potential climate/weather hazards in your own environment and how to be prepared in advance for the most likely elemental risk is common sense.

• March 2018 is not a period suitable for taking chances or risks whether that is with the forces of nature or with people who are about to tip or explode.

Late in March Saturn and Mars together in Capricorn are at 90 degrees to the Sun in Aries while Venus is together with Uranus in Aries.

• The stresses and strains of relating are on high alert in all contexts not just personal and private but in business and political contexts.

• More partnerships, marriages, associations and contexts where negotiation and interaction are required are subject to sudden break-up or breakdown.

Fundamentally the cardinal signs [Aries Libra Cancer Capricorn] are all about relating – to Self to Other to those needing to be nurtured guided or managed.

The onus is on all of us to get this right and the deterioration in this fundamental familial structure has already shown us how much can go wrong in the world when we lack even basic relating skills such as empathy, support, negotiation, compromise. 

Further than this is the necessity of passing through the appropriate stages of emotional development in order to function as a balanced adult. 

This critical issue has been overlooked in a world driven by economic agendas and financial pressures but when the fundamental unit of human society, the family, fails in its purpose, we all fail.

Saturn in Capricorn for a 3 year period will raise this issue of the family-society connection.

At those periods every year when Saturn is at odds with Venus or the Sun relating issues and responsibilities will be confronted by many.  

Conflicts between people over the preferencing of the Self over the responsibilities to others - the need to move away from child-like self-interest and towards an adult role prioritising support of others – one partner telling the other “you need to grow up” “you’re a parent now –start acting like it” –these are the voices of Saturn saying Times Up – definitely a hard awakening for those embedded in the Selfie era of self glorification above everything and everyone –and there are connections to the original #TimesUp calling out those who place no boundaries on their own conduct towards others. 

People who show no restraint are effectively acting like unaccountable children operating within adult bodies in adult environments. Time to work on the mismatch.

Firstly 2018 January-February-March-April all contain indicators that severe natural forces are activated in the environment and in human affairs -with the theme of structural collapse persisting in all contexts -ranging from natural structures such as hillsides, shorelines, riverbanks and vegetation to humanly built structures, human networks whether digital or social, business or political. All aspects of our lives and environments are undergoing a massive change and renewal. 
This is a very long term process and the pattern outlined and sustained in the first 4-5 months has activation potential through to August 2018. However a further cycle begins in 2018 signifying earth changes. When Uranus is in Taurus [mid May-early November 2018, early March 2019-late April 2026] the earth itself and its products and related industries, human production of goods, sources of income, our relationship to money and possessions, the physical/material in general are all likely to be expressed in new, different, innovative ways or become very changed. Miniaturisation is one of those processes -objects shrinking, the digitisation and virtualisation or other physical objects/experiences is another. Lab-food or experimental food or unusual -eg insects as food -all of these things already being floated as all collective events cast their shadow before they fully arrive.
