December 2016 sees a complex clustering of planets which will have significant effects on significant numbers of people
The Full moon on December 14 starts to gather in the clustering energies, though they will grow in their synergistic force towards December 25th

• The most beneficial shift for some people will be a growing spiritual awareness about their relationship to others - whether that is identified formally within a belief system, or simply as an attitudinal change.

At its best this is an opportunity for some people to recognise their position of comfort and good fortune and to see that they can reach out to others not receiving such benefits in this life

For those not feeling the positives of this energy -as giver or receiver - there is still significant change on offer - but more as a result of making shifts under duress - the pressure of some stressful situation demanding that personal changes are made in attitude or behaviour.

Those who cannot at this point rise to the maturing challenge will experience significant consequences.

December 25th and the days surrounding it intensifies the maturing energies, offering the ideal outcome of healed relationships, new perspectives born of understanding the bigger picture of relating, family, society and ultimately our humanity, our spiritual essence.

Within the context of global events these energies also take on a significant meaning. Politics that affect humanity are needing to be re-assessed.

Inter-racial discord is another manifestation as well as faith vs faith, men vs women, humans vs animals – any sector where belief inspires a hatred of another category of life form.

In one-to-one conflicts, this theme of superior purity of ideas is easily channelled into   

a tendency to be too direct, too blunt, be too assertive or aggressive in pursuing an idealistic or overly correct/purist personal agenda, a risk of appearing too selfish, impatient – but of course there are consequences – being too driven by your own agenda could result in the other person being emotionally wounded and suffer significant loss of self esteem.
Purification aggression is clearly not limited to human interactions: our species is populated by many with a domination gene, a mindset of totally superiority over all beings. The desire to eradicate certain biological species or variants and create a perfect natural ecology is also part of this disease of imbalanced perspective. The domestic cat species is on the eradication list globally, especially feral variants on account of the purification agenda. The sense of human entitlement to order natural balances is a deeply flawed position.

Purification Aggression: the global outbreaks July-August 2016

July 2016 saw multiple global outbreaks of what can be depicted as purification aggression involving mass killings and/or mass injuries.

Mass violence in general has been headline news in July 2016 -with the US rocked by shootings related to racial tensions between Police and the Black community, following outrage over the killings of many Black males by Police.
Racial purification may well be subconscious in some situations as well as a conscious motivator in other examples in this context.

The intensity of violent energy has remained in force during July  and likely intensifying in August 2016.

A mass killer had a desire to obliterate the disabled -a form of cleansing similar to eugenics -in a stabbing frenzy at a facility, leaving 19 dead and 25 wounded

Europe, particularly France and Germany are on sustained high alert on account of multiple examples across the continent involving aggression fuelled by religious purification

The mass killings and or injuries are in addition to the widespread psychological violence endured by any population or subculture subjected to a state of war - which effectively now exists between radical Islamists and all those perceived as infidels.

This state of war however is far more insidious, covert, hidden and unpredictable, being fought from within a nation's own borders, impacting the daily lives of millions unaccustomed to such a high level of threat.

The decision by the New Zealand government announced July 25, to make the country predator free by 2050 - an ambitious plan to eradicate rats, stoats, possums, weasels, ferrets from the entire country in defence of the native bird population. Framed in patriotic terms by Predator Free NZ this proposal also strong fits the purfication aggression agenda, where entire species will be killed off, having been determined by one sector of humanity, to be inferior, impure, compared to another.
In a holistic spiritual context this view is extremely ignorant.

And, in another sector, in New Zealand, the purification agenda manifesting strongly in July 2016 relates to an idealistic view that all people are entitled to own their own homes. 
Global forces and domestic political policies have created in NZ [as in other Western nations] a housing boom involving extremely inflated house prices in Auckland city especially.
The Baby Boomer generation [1946-1964] have been demonised for having lived in an era when the costs of housing and education in particular were modest and achievable in a far more egalitarian way.
The disaffected are the millennials or late gen x-ers - the oldest of whom are mid-thirties and livid, hot with rage - but the most angry are the white middle class educated who are accustomed to entitlement by virtue of their inherited place in society - but that society has changed rapidly in their lifetime and the rug has now been pulled out from under them - saddled with high debt from sky-rocketing tertiary education fees many skipped the country. Then home ownership for many millennials went up in a puff of smoke as average sales in Auckland surpassed $800,000 in May 2015 - by March 2015 there were already 36 Auckland suburbs with an average residential sale price over $1 million
Local policies and global forces brought about this imbalance -but in NZ anyone aged over 55 is regarded as greedy, selfish because their life and opportunities were different -though not equally prosperous - and they will universally receive tax-payer funded retirement pension -which millennials will slog to pay for.
The anger is palpable, equivalent to the millennials wanting to eradicate the baby boomers in NZ and seize their karmic advantages -as clearly expressed in this cartoon .
The purification agenda expresses here as a purist or idealist view of an ongoing stable society - which, when threatened, morphs into an attack on another sector of society -symbolically seeking to exterminate them.
By the time the millennials rule Parliament it might not be safe to be a pensioner.

Saturn in Sagittarius [Dec 2014-Dec 2017] creates much interfaith and cross-cultural discord

June, July, August, September 2016 are sustained months of Saturn at a right angle -90 degrees offset against Neptune - creating an intensity of tension - aggravating fear and repression of those seen as foreign or culturally different.

August 2016 is significant
Jupiter in Virgo the combined stimulus to achieve extreme purity or purification - closes in on the angle triggering the sudden violence of Uranus in Aries.
The month begins with  Jupiter at 22 Virgo and Uranus at 24'30 Aries.
August 13 sees them exact at 24'25 [quincunx]
[Uranus began retrograde direction from  July 29]
August 13 is significant too for Saturn ending its retrograde phase and resuming stationary direct - emphasising the energies of this planet.
August 13 is a prelude to energy-building in the development of the Full Moon - the Sun reaches 24 Leo on August 16 - linking to the Uranus-Jupiter combination and the Full Moon on August 18 at 25'52 Leo-Aquarius extends the energies for a lunar month.
Mercury joins exactly with Jupiter on August 22.

Why the events of August are likely to be dramatic - 
[the Leo month is typically so - the Sun is at its strongest position for the year, for transmitting the prevailing energies of the cosmos]
is the link to the mid September lunar eclipse - at - 24'20 Pisces. 
The ability of an eclipse energy to function in past,present and future is well known amongst astrologers. 
In this respect, August could very well play out the themes indicated by the September lunar eclipse in Virgo-Pisces - faith, purity along with hi-level discord indicated by Mars 23 Sagittarius closely square the eclipse, and Saturn in Sagittarius again almost exact square Neptune in Pisces.
Huge conflicts involving faith, religion, compassion versus cold-heartedness, how we all deal with cultural/racial differences.
Uranus at 23 Aries at the eclipse is again very much in the picture, ready to erupt in violence.

Eclipse have a 6 month period of effect -at the very least - until the next eclipse -and so bear the signature for an extended period.

This is not an easy time at all for humanity. It is an extreme and enduring crisis that demands a major shift in global consciousness to neutralise and resolve the primitivism, irrationality and hatred.
Humanity's level of immaturity and spiritual ignorance is being exposed and can only be transcended by the obvious antidotes: maturity and spiritual wisdom. 
Each of us has a part to play to alter what we have created.

BREXIT astrology - the world has changed

June 2016 saw the UK deliver a LEAVE vote in terms of membership of the European Union
Most of the debate has been immigration focussed -but it is the political, economic and financial causes and consequences which are possibly more significant.

So, in the most recent cycle, aside from 1980-81, our global humanity has been locked increasingly and highly dysfunctionally, into a very materialistic, money-oriented mindset since 1802.

In 2016, the world is again being put on notice, given a forewarning, a wake-up call, courtesy of Brexit and the obvious financial ripples, shudders and crashes.

So global events are the obvious precursor crisis that enforces less materiality -and yes, less money,- due to conditions of deprivation for many-rather than a pre-selected personal philosophical choice.

The hard way is enforced change.
The easier way is working out in advance where the flow is going and making personal decisions that create a shift away from so much extreme dependence on a materialistic existence - eg renting versus owning property, public transport versus personal vehicle, reducing the quantity of consumer goods purchased in favour of using just what you need or sharing/borrowing/hiring appliances/tools/equipment.
Being prepared to live on a lower income.
Getting rid of clutter, stored possessions. [The minimalist style is an early flavour of what is to be much more prevalent]
Downsizing -literally reducing the scale of the things you choose to keep - housing, transport - house to apartment; from car to a scooter.

Because we have already entered the transition period there are many indicators of these shifts in consciousness about materialism.
More is to come because it is a collective shift that will capture the essential mindset of humanity -and many will not be interested in making a change. But the flow cannot be resisted. Standing in a growing flood is simply the sign of a delusional ego.
Global financial crises have been continually anticipated again in the years after the 2007 GFC and the odds have arguably been increased with the Brexit Leave vote.
Brexit itself is not the world changer, Brexit happened because the world is in transition for even more change.

Finding Liberation - Saturn Neptune 2015-2016

Finding liberation through the integration of two principles Saturn and Neptune is a key process on offer in the period 2015-2016
We are bathed in the cosmic soup, an ever-changing combination of vibratory energies which alter us on every level. Being able to mentally comprehend the meaning of any prevailing influence gives us opportunities to heal and develop our personal expression.

The current Saturn-Neptune cycle began in 1989. 2015-2016 sees these planets at the final phase of the cycle.

Look back to 1989 for significant life experiences which signify the qualities of Saturn and Neptune in your own life.
Further stages in the resolution of this dynamic pair occurred in 1998 and 2006 -so refer to these periods also.

Some people will identify as being more a Saturn personality. Others will see themselves as more Neptune.

But both are incomplete. Both require the integration of other energies to be resolved.
The Saturn-Neptune cycle marks a period in everyone's life when the time is right to find that balance.

Neptune plus Pisces is a double whammy situation because Neptune is the planetary force that carries the energy of Pisces [in the total time frame 2012-2025]

How much separation, self protection, blocking, controlling can I maintain [Saturn] if I truly want to feel spiritually connected to humanity and to relate deeply to others ? [Neptune] 

How much serious, pragmatic, security-based thought is needed in making decisions [Saturn] versus the input from imaginative, idealistic dreams? [Neptune]

Each of us is urged by these planetary vibrations to reconfigure our thought processes, our decisions, our choices to find a form of liberation from the negatives that arise when any one of the energies is expressing too extremely in your life - too much Saturn, or too much Neptune.

Saturnian people are at risk of being too shut off, too blocked, too insecure despite extreme self protective measures because separation is not the pathway to the true state of connection.

Truly accepting this type of adult societal position allows Saturnian people to recognise their true worth.

Neptunian people are at risk of being too sensitive to the harsh realities of practical existence -and so seek many forms of addictive escape through substances or behaviours which create an alternate world or an intoxicated or drugged state of mind. 
The way through these negative survival choices is to use the most positive Neptunian qualities of compassion, service to others, everyday kindness to establish a spiritual connection to humanity and all sentient beings.

If you are too rigid, too uptight, too serious, too fearful, too security conscious, too tied up with work, career, ambition or commitments -your Saturn needs to be chilled out with some of Neptune's positive, uplifting qualities.

uncommitted to humanity or society - your Neptune is needing some Saturnian structure, focus and sense of contribution to the everyday world.

In confronting the need to rebalance these two principles many will be aware of difficult or crisis situations where the two polar energies of Saturn-Neptune are contrasted:

Resistance versus going with the flow
But the process really is about a merging of the best of both.

The resolution of Saturn-Neptune in general society would express as compassionate governments, and philanthropic corporates - organisations and businesses with a humanity-based agenda instead of the soul destroying extreme business and profit models which have created such wealth disparity and income equality across the world.

Is is no surprise that issues of homelessness, the cost of real estate, poverty are some of the related social issues very much emphasised in this Saturn-Neptune cycle.
