Analysis: the potent February 2018 solar eclipse

The February solar eclipse at the 

mid month New Moon carries a very interconnected complex of energies – signifying on one level extra powerful forces expressing through the natural elements and atmosphere

 then symbolically related effects in the diverse spheres of human activity.

Strong to severe environmental outcomes are expected in the form of weather and events which impact not only physical aspects such as landforms and surfaces but also built structures – all with consequences for people.

In the domains of human activity a continuation of material/financial impacts is expected as this eclipse shows strong capacity to wipe out money/assets. With uncertainty impacting world markets since the February 5 losses - under the effect of a sequence of planetary influences [Jupiter, Uranus, Saturn all interacting with Venus in the first half of February - and now showing outcomes] more pressure is being applied during the timeframe of this eclipse suggesting it is highly likely that a longer period of adverse indicators is now underway..not a simple quick correction.

Everything possible is on board this eclipse pattern: the sun and moon in conjunction are the tail end of a locomotive driven by Pluto, assisted by Jupiter, Uranus, Mercury, Chiron all in the range from 20-27 degrees – a “train” of energies always indicating multiple combined forces resulting in high potency.

The powerful chain reaction capacity of such a string is assisted further by  Mars, Neptune and the lunar nodes in the range 12-15 degrees. As described many times in prior posts, the 27-12 combination of energies, especially strengthened when in an eclipse grouping, promises highly significant events in human and natural activities.

The potential for immense destructive power in vulnerable locations and conditions indicates that where strong weather is clearly building that necessary protective actions are appropriate such as evacuation, flood protection. 

Highly energised conditions in some locations: wind and water, with underlying heat are elemental factors indicated strongly for locations where environmental impacts from these are relevant. Significant snow as a frozen form of water applies in locations where this is relevant. 

Structural collapse has been a theme since the start of 2018 and remains strongly in effect due to sustained reactivating factors. Outcomes include further examples of landslips, avalanches, bridge, road or building collapses –whether as a result of extra strong weather elements or due to the deformation of land from tectonic plate movement. Ingress of sea water as a destructive force continues to be a destructive element in coastal locations when combined with abnormally strong weather elements and with seafloor earthquake events – all of which are potentials elevated within the global environment in vulnerable locations during the 6 month effective period of the February 2018 solar eclipse.

Even looking at March 2018 -very similar themes persist at the mid-month New Moon though the energies aren't quite as completely entangled as at the mid February eclipse.
In March:

• The 27-12 pattern remains in place: Sun+Moon at 27, Neptune-Venus-Mercury combining in the 11-14 range = major indicator of severe weather 
• Saturn with Venus in the approach days -week starting March 12
• Saturn in a very tight 23-8 pattern with Jupiter 
• Mars energising the lunar nodes in a 29-14 pattern
• Water continues to be the key element causing structural damage on micro to macro scales. Vulnerability to this natural force is extra high in the March to April lunar period

In combination a re-affirmation of the prevailing dramatic and energised forces impacting not only weather/external environments but also areas of human activity with the clear message of reining in excesses tightening the belt not only with all aspects of consumption - food, drink, purchases as well as general money management.

Vulnerabilities Exposed

Impacts upon people include loss of assets/financial loss due to adverse weather/environmental forces but also in other contexts due to the generalised effect of Saturn-Venus diminishing material, financial gains. The stockmarket / sharemarket conditions deteriorating are part of the picture.

Structural collapse also applies to non-physical structures -conceptual entities or heirarchies such as companies or networks. 

Anything with a structure has to identify vulnerabilities under prevailing influences as the current pressures are set to expose weaknesses.

The overall situation in every context from the personal to the commercial to the political is one recommending restraint, conserving, caution in regard to spending, investing, future planning regarding assets/income. Everything has a season. Current conditions in the time frames indicated represent an Autumn or Fall preparing for a Winter.

Environmental and changing financial conditions both have the potential to deliver material/monetary losses during this first half of 2018 under forecastable influences.

Lifestyles, relationships are also examples of structures vulnerable to weakness - and in some contexts the Venus energy [Venus-Saturn-Pluto] will express as relationship loss. Powerful changes are evident in the way people are relating, gender issues very high profile under the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements so expect more disclosures, more women speaking out, more abusers identified. People also choosing to end relationships for positive reasons –to reclaim personal empowerment – but also people ending relationships by means of abuse of power – violent and homicidal energy is high risk.

Others will experience loss due to “acts of God” – where people are taken in accidents, environmental or weather events. 

At the time of writing [ as the eclipse energies gather strength ] on Feb 11 a regional passenger plane has crashed near Moscow killing all on board – this type of collective death and mass mourning is higher-than-normal risk under prevailing forces.

A strengthening tropical cyclone having passed through Samoa

heading for the Tongan & Fiji Islands on Feb 12 expected to reach maximum category 5 strength has the potential to cause at least severe structural and environmental damage in addition to loss of life. 

As in all experiences the range of impacts from person to person varies from direct to indirect and therefore from maximum to minimum – each person’s vulnerability is highly personalised due to their own match with prevailing forces and the degree to which those forces pose the related challenges identified.
