In this period there is a continuation of the global context of ongoing social/political/envionmental turmoil.

June 28 saw a strong geomagnetic storm impact earth, as a result of a high stream solar wind in full connection due to south polarity of the Bz component.
There were 15 hours in succession of storm level readings from over K4 up to K7 in the period June 28 21:00 hrs UT to June 29 12:00hrs UT 

This was a long duration geomagnetic event bringing northern lights as far south as Kansas and in New Zealand up to Wellington, latitude 41 South.

Flow on effects are anticipated in earth systems - natural, biological and electronic. Watch for relevant news of related turbulence in weather, human/animal behaviour, system malfunctions, sharemarket panic [not extreme but causing instability] especially July 1-2. 

The planetary picture means for many the month is dominated by the energies of homes, houses, families, lunar, female, motherly, nurturing. Sensitivities are heightened, with compassion and caring to the fore.

This suggests continuance and even greater emphasis upon the ongoing trend seen in vulnerable locations across the world whereby families and their places of refuge – their homes – are under real threat of destruction: 

• if environmental factors [effects of fire/wind/water] reach extreme levels
• or loss of dwellings/family disintegration as a result of political-societal upheaval if human generated disaster zones derived from war, conflict or misuse of power, spread into residential areas.

Further social rebalancing effects are equally possible in known global conflict zones as well as in western democracies – in other words, wherever the use of power has become severely dysfunctional, abusive, corrupt. Such circumstances are the evidence of systemic failure on the part of governing regimes and elected decision-makers to fulfil their essential purpose – to effectively manage their nation’s resources in order that citizens may enjoy productive and collectively beneficial lives. This ethic has for the most part, across the planet, been buried in the mists of antiquity, but a redressing of the power imbalances is unavoidably on the global agenda under full spotlights during the period 2012-2016

She/he is expected to arrive in the period approaching -i.e. the powerful building phase of exact full moon - the Supermoon detailed below -the lunar energy is likely to promote childbirth in anyone hanging on or overdue
What makes this period especially relevant to the Royals is:

• the 0 degree Leo-Aquarius Supermoon is exactly square the Queen's 0 Taurus Sun and exactly square Prince Charles' [grandad] 0 Taurus Moon.

July 22 Supermoon - Full Moon: Leo-Aquarius with Mars-Jupiter-Saturn-Neptune water sign Grand Trine; Uranus square Pluto

The Full Moon pairing of Leo-Aquarius generates issues around  love, love affairs, friendship, group activities. What links these is that they are all ways or levels of relating and questions may arise as to which is most appropriate.

• The Human Collective continues to be emphasised, in terms of the Big Family – our connection and attachment to the larger pool of humanity is likely to arise in many situations. 
• Events are likely to bring this consciousness to the forefront at a time when human - as well as other biological and energetic forces of nature are in major adjustment – shifts, changes, realignments, alterations in balances and emphases – as part of the journey of humanity towards greater realisation of our potential. 
• The long-term process is however fraught with challenges - including shock and bewilderment -  since most major shifts appear to be initiated by outside forces. But there is no difference. The outside is a mirror of the inside. Everything is in mutual feedback, each to each other and us with the environment. 

Further factors [Mars,Jupiter] add to the effects generally experienced on earth from the lunar gravitational dynamic co-created with the Sun at Full Moon and the Supermoon situation due to close perigee. 

 These factors combined place a much greater than normal strain on the earth’s crust due to stronger tidal bulges around the planet.
In addition, fluid and atmospheric pressures are capable of large increases in the period around this full moon.

These effects may be evident from July 21 and continuing into August as several triggers come into effect engaging Mars & Jupiter with Uranus and Pluto. 

Geophysical stresses will increase but may not yet be evident in terms of significant surface seismic rupturing - further strains could erupt as the weeks progress into August

Environmental atmospheric turbulence is likely to be widespread globally –storms, severe deluge, flooding, landslips –anything in the category of extreme weather cannot be excluded - as relevant to local conditions and their trademark vulnerabilities.

Stormy conditions affect human interactions as well.

What is interesting in the animation is the wide spread of seismic activity beyond the focal Cook Strait area - and even further beyond the map coverage

Monday July 22 also saw two destructive & fatal quakes -M5.6, M6.6 in China 

July 29 sees a M5.4 in Cook Strait and a M4.7 in North Canterbury - adding to the possibility that added strain on the major Alpine Fault running through the South Island could be the process to watch as we head into high risk August - report

The involvement of the transport signs [GEM-SAG] along with Saturn-Neptune in Scorpio-Pisces gives grounds to expect fatalities associated with any transit mode – walking, jogging, bus, car, truck, train, plane, ship are the main methods of transport – and all are at risk of  failure, involving death. Neptune brings issues around these events: a detrimental force of water, drugs, alcohol,

An eclipse has a period of influence until the next eclipse event period some 6 months later. In July a succession of transport accidents have occurred with Neptune lingering around the 5 degree position - linked tightly to the eclipse at 4 degrees.
Neptune will retrograde back to 4 degrees in August, probably increasing transport accident risks

Do You Get the Dalai Lama?

In New Zealand this week, I happened to hear Andrew Fagan

 & Karyn Hay discussing the Dalai Lama on their radio slot,

 as on Wednesday June 12 the Dalai Lama had given

 a full house talk at Auckland's Civic Theatre.

 Andrew & Karyn [long-term partners I believe]

 had polar opposite views on the Dalai Lama.

 Andrew sees a fake, a rock-star sham who ought to sleep

 in bus shelters if he wants to be taken seriously.

 Karyn calmly presented another view: a man spreading a positive message

Outside the Civic, there were protestors apparently Chinese nationals, with placards and leaflets. Their document could be taken as a collection of mis-information though described as "Facts and Figures".
These three examples describe the state of our world: the imbalance of distrust and cold-heartedness outweighs the shining light of goodness to such an extent, that even pure compassion can be misinterpreted.
Happiness is in the mind said the Dalai Lama and where money can ease your physical discomfort, it will never alleviate suffering in the mind.

Miro, Picasso: inside the mind, an astro energy-analysis

Spanish creatives Joan Miro and Pablo Picasso

born in the late 19th century left a powerful legacy

with global cultural impact spanning the 20^th century and beyond.

Miro

Miro happened to be born in a most auspicious period

 when a rare conjunction of planets occurred.

It is the combined imprints in particular of Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn and Jupiter –said to be captured by the neural networks at birth – that manifest so strongly in Miro’s work

Pluto and Neptune formed exact conjunctions in Gemini in 1891 and 1892 – for the first meeting in almost 500 years –which is a significant enough collective energy shift – but for Miro the added connections of Jupiter, Uranus and Saturn linked very closely to Pluto-Neptune enhanced his particular ability to be a conduit for the universal energies prevailing.

April 1893 was a very potent period for that grouping of 5 planets to find sources of expression – in particular, people whose lives might serve as examples. Miro is readily apparent as a rightful heir to the available energies with his day and time of birth adding further reinforcement to the outcomes that defined his life

Pluto conjunct Neptune combines two levels of energy expression that are far removed from everyday experience – the metaphysical and the immaterial – fundamentally the terrain of quantum physics –which most have little sense of or experience with or even intellectual appreciation of.

Thankfully there are artists, musicians, spiritually and scientifically minded people who all have a perspective on the nature of this non-ordinary reality –and therein lies the capacity for cross-over -  where the spiritual or the scientific is expressed through art or music.

Both Pluto and Neptune, via the particular high frequency of electromagnetic radiation they discharge, are associated with abilities beyond the normal, including pre-cognition, extra sensory or clair-sentient ability. They provide a resonance with the physics of the depths of space as well as the minutiae of sub-atomic quantum reality

When Pluto and Neptune aligned exactly in the early 1890’s their position in the Gemini sector made this type of consciousness of the unconscious and hidden realms available to the everyday mind.  The Gemini level of mental functioning is concerned with symbols, signs, language, codes, letters, graphics –along with fragments of information, ephemera – and on another level with writing, reading, talking, communicating ideas, thoughts and general information.

Pluto in Gemini creates a fascination, even obsession with the above aspects of human mind and activities – with a desire to penetrate the mind itself as well for hidden information [ psychoanalysis and hypnosis]

People born with Pluto in Gemini have much more deeply insightful minds than delivered just by Gemini in an unadulterated state. Pluto seeks out the meaning, secrets and essence of things and provides the mind of such people with far more information about things, people, life in general, than most who operate at an everyday level of functional thinking.

Neptune in Gemini infuses the mind with fantasy, daydreaming, escapist, meditative and spiritualized states that are closer to the brainwave conditions of sleep than the alert working mode of  the mind

Effectively, Pluto and Neptune together in Gemini create a shift of the mind away from the terrestrial and mundane and into the altered reality of cosmic space-time and the revelation of unconscious material 

There was only one significant factor allowing Miro to keep himself anchored or earthed enough to avoid extreme dysfunctionality: Saturn in the balancing sign Libra provided enough of an antidote to the extremely intense forces he had to work with – four planets in Gemini –being Moon and Mars adding to the Pluto-Neptune mix means he had an awful lot going on in his head; Jupiter and Uranus add in excesses and chaos to the mix and Mercury linking to all the forementioned planets means his planetary channel of mental functioning is receiving a huge amount of information. Is the complexity of his artwork any surprise? Work done in different periods shows different prevailing influences but all his stylistic elements show correspondences with the dominance of one or more of Miro’s driving forces – from the most intense and complex to the minimalist symbolic works infused with motifs of surrealism, cosmic symbology, dreams, the unconscious, dematerialised space.

That Miro expressed his highly energised mind through art comes as no surprise when the combination of Venus, north lunar node, Sun and Jupiter all in the elevated high noon position. These ingredients bring together Venus and planets in the connected sign Taurus [Sun, Jupiter] all in association with the destiny indicator the north lunar node. 

Libra and Leo are the two signs most associated with fine art and creativity and Taurus with sensory perception. Miro has Saturn in Libra which is a good structural or compositional sense; Leo is the sign rising at his birth and the Venus-Node combination in Aries has a polarity link with Libra [opposite signs are in feedback as in any dipolar magnetic system] In other words his Aries elements were equally capable of operating like Libra.

 In combination Miro possessed not only a medley of exceptionally creative traits evidenced by the factors just noted, but also a mid capable of transporting those talents somewhere no one had gone before.

His serious side –describing himself as tragic and tormented and capable of being viewed as constrained – all showing the influence of  Saturn so closely opposed to the mentally functioning Mercury – whereas in terms of pure contradiction Miro himself recognised the humorous and playful aspects of his work and others would detect spontaneity in the man himself. These balancing qualities come from the close conjunction of Jupiter to the Sun and Uranus offsetting some of Saturn’s hardest traits.

Miro’s first solo show was in 1918. Fittingly he was drawn to the avant garde especially surrealist practitioners of the era. By 1922 he showed his capacity for astute deconstruction  of material reality – identifying the canvas as a magnetic field activated by an electric current and the opportunity for the laws of gravity to be challenged. 

Great strides in further subversion were made by 1924 with Miro’s stated intent to transform the ‘canvas into a neutral indeterminate surface where figures could float free as dream-like signs within a transfigured world’ [Candela p10-11]

Surrealism had given Miro licence to express his transcended vision, surpassing the limitations of even Cubism’s multi-perspective revolution – for Miro space was a much more dimensional domain and thus his alignment is clear with much later 20^th century physicists who adhere to theories of physical space extending up to 26 dimensions

Picasso’s birth pre-dates Miro by over 11 years and so the planetary factors giving rise to his personal energetic blueprint are in a different category – so distinct in fact that Miro warrants more acclaim for his scientifically accurate perception of reality, long before such aspects of physics were determined or given theoretical credence

Picasso’s artistic credentials comply with the expected correspondences: he has creatively prominent Leo as his rising sign; Venus the indicator of aesthetic sensitivity in Libra –the sign most associated with fine art; a predominance of factors [6 in total] in Taurus-Scorpio adds to the picture via the strong attunement to sensory faculties endowed by those energies.

Were it not for further ingredients, Picasso could have been someone immersed in a very prolific creative occupation. Jupiter in Taurus created the abundance of his work and typically of Taurus a fondness for the tactile shown in his large body of three dimensional work, including ceramics, collage, costume, theatre sets  plus an often heavily gestural style. An enduring love of voluptuous forms is evident -  as well as the recurrent Bull motif. Life in all its earthly Taurean glory is offset with death and destruction elements [Scorpio] including skull imagery.

Pluto, Neptune and Uranus also have major roles to play in lifting Picasso beyond a merely successful career. Pluto enables an extremely penetrating insight and awareness. Placed in such connectivity to Mercury [mind] and in Taurus gave Picasso a metaphysical awareness – a capacity to understand the transcendance of material reality – its destruction and renewal.

Neptune in Taurus conceptualises the dissolution process, dematerialising the object. So much of Picasso’s work is about line, contour.

Uranus brings a strong influence to his Sun [by semisquare angle] and the Sun’s interaction with Jupiter-Neptune [the midpoint of these connects to Uranus] and this ingredient is the avant garde indicator –the rule-breaking, subversive and overall unconventional capacity which lights revolutionary fires.

Although Picasso clearly broke ground in the canon of Western art history and remains enduringly significant, that status may be more as a result of work that reflects his attachment to the earthly domains which make people secure and comfortable – even when rather oddly packaged - versus Miro’s desire to portray unrecognisable and bizarre symbolic and dreamlike realms where many fear to tread

In the longer stretch of global cultural history, Miro’s vision is likely to have renewed spike’s of relevance since the energetic pathway denoted by the spatial orbits of the signifiers Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn and Jupiter are increasingly engaged in shared cycles emphasising the conceptual over the form, the idea over the object –a process emerging in fine art since the radical revisions of Dada, Cubism and Surrealism opened the doorway to alternative ways of perception.

June 2013 has a New Moon at 18 degrees Gemini 

on the 8th, plus a Supermoon  on the 23rd

What's in store?

This is a very Gemini New Moon -with Sun, Moon, Mars, Jupiter all ranging from 5-26 degrees so all four planets synergise effects : lots of communicating by all means available -vocal, electronic, written, and lots of reading as well as a surge of energy for short distance travel -especially by car/train/bus and travel or exercise on foot or by bike. But some caution is needed.

NOTE: The period of influence for a New or Full Moon begins days before exact alignment and extends until the next new or full moon event in the following month. This is because the sensitive point [zodiac degree] activated by the solar-lunar effect remains capable of being further triggered by other planets reaching or in angular relationship to that zodiac degree. The Moon itself will do this many times in the lunar month, but even stronger triggers come from the planets from Mars outwards. In any given lunar month, there may be multiple activations of the potentials identified

The New Moon has Saturn in close enough range to bring destructive influences over transport and communications -failures, dysfunctions, meltdowns, accidents - and fatalities -all are more of a risk than usual to those most affected by personal elements at/near 18 Gemini and 5 Scorpio

 [ this grouping also affects 18 degrees in the related signs Pisces, Virgo and Sagittarius and 5 degrees Leo, Aquarius, Taurus]

The nasty side of some people will be expressed through communications and/or vehicles so steer clear of those capable of road rage and poisonous messages

The long-term global upheavals related to power imbalances, power abuse, misuse of power, whether in political or personal contexts, continues to be in effect. There are several strongly connected pairings/groupings in this New Moon lineup:

• Pluto in exact opposition to Mercury in the Cancer-Capricorn polarity puts emphasis on homes, domestic and family issues versus working/professional life.
• This pairing then connects to Jupiter in Gemini - overall a combination with likelihood of mass evacuations from homes in areas under threat from environmental/weather events
•  [update June 10 -thousands forced to leave homes after dam bursts on swollen river Elbe, West Germany. At 7.44 metres, the river is nearly 4 times normal levels report]
• [update June 9 Central European flood emergency which began in the context of the late May lunar eclipse -   now extends into Hungary with the Danube River at record levels.  China also hit by extreme rain and flooding. Western US hit by extreme heat

The environment remains volatile with the same rebalancing theme involving Pluto-Uranus

Places most vulnerable to extreme weather effects are likely to see more through June 2013

In addition Mars is at odds with Neptune [90 degree square at New Moon ] which will aggravate flooding and deluge issues in vulnerable zones.

In summary:
there is much scope for extended extreme weather effects through June 2013 -intensified by the Supermoon effects detailed below.

The Supermoon full moon on the 23rd at 2 Capricorn is is very close proximity to Jupiter

This coincides with the Solstice point and is therefore a seasonal marker, when the sun's position relative to the earth is most direct - this corresponds not only to the light factor [ N hemisphere is in summer mode vs southern in winter] but also to the direct transmission of solar generated particles and high frequency electromagnetic radiation.
Solstice and equinox periods tend to have greater atmospheric and weather turbulence than average so with the added factor of a Supermoon at this June solstice - where the moon is not only aligned with the sun exactly, but being 356,989 kms away at that point, it is the closest orbit moon to earth for 2013 - this amplifies normal solar-lunar gravitational effects and may be seen to associate with wilder weather, more seismicity derived from added strains, pressures, forces and chaotic elements in the global weather system

Jupiter's role being very close to the sun and opposite the Moon at the Solstice

provides even greater intensification of environmental energetic effects i.e. the capacity for weather to go extreme in vulnerable places. [in fact on June 19 Jupiter is in total eclipse, being positioned behind the Sun. Most important is the direct alignment at 28 Gemini of these big solar system players]

In addition: the Lunar Nodes at 16 Scorpio

Are in strong connection to the full moon and related effects

Scorpio is the energy of endings, transformations and literal death and so the fatal risk level is elevated in the lunar month from June 21.

With the Supermoon in the signs Cancer-Capricorn 

all things connected to homes, families and parenting are in the spotlight. 

Destructive affects are anticipated - for some only impacting the physical structural house itself, but overall having life-changing affects on families.

Peoples work-life balance is under scrutiny too and some will find their priorities radically flipped.

At the very least many are subject to significant changes, endings, losses.

Amelia Earhart’s mysterious death
 is signposted by a string

 of challenging forces that arose

 from the point of her initial global mission

By attempting to fly the longest global route around the equator, 

Amelia Earhart was set for world-wide fame. 

It was an ambitious and risky project

 and hallmarks of impending failure were laid bare

 well before July of 1937

An analysis of factors affecting Earhart is derived from a cross-comparison of prevailing indicators in 1937 with her very revealing birth pattern from the documented birth date July 24 1897. 

The methodology involves a consideration of the system of planetary forces which creates everything in existence. At birth, each of us has a template of the conditions in operation on that day, further personalised by knowledge of the actual birth time. This take-off date saw the first mechanical problems 

Saturn at 25 and Pluto at 26 degrees were in close to exact connection to the Sun on that day indicating that problematic and destructive forces were prevalent and continued to be in effect on March 20 when further limiting problems occurred

May 21 1937

The plane was flown from Oakland, California to Miami, Florida. 

After the previous plane repairs, the route was altered from an East-West path to a West-East direction.

On that day: Sun-Mars-Pluto all linked in the range 27-29 degrees. Pluto’s destructive/transformative energies being fuelled by Sun-Mars in unison

June 1 1937

Earhart’s plane leaves Miami bound for South America accompanied by experienced navigator Fred Noonan. This is the beginning of the equatorial global flight which will include Africa, India, South East Asia and Australia on the flight path, before arriving in Papua New Guinea at the end of June.

Being accompanied by just one other person, the joined or twinned destiny of Earhart with her navigator Noonan is reflected in the predominance of the twin sign Gemini in the unfolding death scenario.

On June 1 the destiny factors are closing in on Earhart.

•  the lunar nodes at 15 Sagittarius-Gemini are activating her Pluto at 14 Gemini; the Sun in Gemini will soon pass over all off her Gemini planets –with an intensifying effect produced when the  total solar eclipse of  June 8 1937 – 17 Gemini serves as a triggering of the Earhart planets sitting from 12-21 Gemini: the midpoint of that range is 16.5 degrees so the close proximity positionings are simultaneously activated [eclipses begin their effects in the days prior and may be retriggered repeatedly within the 6 months until the next eclipse]

Earhart reaches Lae, Papua New Guinea for refuelling.

22,000 miles of the route have been covered. 7,000 miles remain, all across the Pacific.

At 0:00hrs GMT – likely local time around 10am – the plane left Lae [lat 6’30 S, long 146’43 E] with the plan to reach Howland Island [0’48 N, 176’37 W] 

The last complete radio message from Earhart was recorded at  19.30 GMT [ around 5.30 a.m on July 3 in the Pacific location]

Including the statement ‘…gas is running low…’

Last transmission 21.30 GMT [approx 07.30 a.m. ]

Presumed to have ditched at sea

Multiple planetary factors activate positions in Earhart’s chart

Neptune to her Sun [semisquare]

Jupiter & Venus to her Saturn-Uranus [sextile]

Of these, activations of Saturn-Uranus, Mars-Jupiter and Venus-Pluto and the involvement of so many activators complete the disaster scenario with a probable death in water  [Neptune-Sun] as a consequence of engine failure [Saturn-Uranus] which links back to the loss of fuel [ Saturn-Uranus-Neptune in the birth chart]

Presumed dead on July 2 1937, officially Earhart was declared dead on January 5 1939

It would be expected on departing on July 2 1937 on the final portion of the flight, adequate fuel reserves had been loaded to reach Howland Island from Lae, Papua New Guinea so the question arises as to whether in a plane already beset by issues since the March 17 attempt, a functional issues interfered with fuel.

A 2012 discovery by sonar of a seafloor anomaly is being investigated in the Kiribati Islands, specifically Nikumaroro - 4.40 S, 174.31 W. If this proves to be the wreckage of Earhart’s Lockheed Electra plane, then the problems arose well before the intended refuelling destination.
