Eclipses have a 6 month effect window -beginning days before exact and capable of identified themes being retriggered multiple times in that time frame due to repeated activation by further planetary factors coming within close range of the sensitive degree positions found in the full eclipse array -not just the sun & moon - some or all of the whole set of galactic players that are entangled by degree position to the eclipse and or to other planets.

Standout aspects activated by the January lunar eclipse
The indicators of sustained severe to extreme weather and major environmental conditions remain strong, sustaining the pattern locked in at January 1 2018 which indicated "high heat". This effect already noted in the US [in winter] New Zealand and Australia [in summer]
The combination of dryness, heat plus wind and fire plus wind are ongoing conditions with related high level of combustibility in general contexts.
Drought intensity likely to increase.

In locations where the season is not capable of destructive heat in the natural environment, the risk shifts to fire or combustion in constructed environments.

Power use/abuse, politics, accountability, responsibility all remain in the spotlight -especially with the need to replace delusion, escapism, avoidance or fantasy with cold hard facts and reality. Replace addiction with withdrawal. Exchange dissolution with new structure.

Death themes continue to be pronounced -in some cases literal death of the body, in other cases a psychological death so that other parts of the mind arise giving new strength.
Environmental death relates to plants or animals affected by the sustained elemental imbalance delivered by the forces of nature.

Significant encounters involving someone known from the past. The friendship/love spectrum has to be re-examined..is this a repeat or has something changed?
This is the Aquarius-Leo eclipse with lunar nodes and Venus. It will be most relevant for those with positions in the range 10-17 degrees of Leo-Aquarius-Taurus-Scorpio.
A creative surge is also inspired in many due to the combined Venus-Leo-Neptune energies

Love, friendship, creativity/art/theatre/performance, magical & innovative entertainment, technology, children are all themes or combinations -eg children's performance, technological art, arts education...are the sort of things arising more prominently in the half year of this eclipse

The risk accentuated around the sea/water during adventurous activity is also apparent due to Mars' position.
The force of water is significant in environmental events.
The land, agriculture and horticulture are also under threat with Saturn Pluto and Uranus [dryness, wind and heat] made more intense by the death cycle under Jupiter - affecting things related to the land/earth structure. Consequences for some also include their material, financial assets.

High temperatures in the New Zealand summer in January 2018 have been linked by meteorologists to the last such period of heatwave -January 1935

Since looking at environmental conditions is one of my special areas of research my interest was piqued - and even a quick look at the prevailing cycles brings up very clear connections between these 2 periods.

Unlike standard weather forecasting, the method that is used here takes into account that our tiny blue marble planet operates within a massive system - and a system in which Earth is not the driver.

2018 began with a full supermoon on Jan 2 and ends with another supermoon on Jan 31 

With the moon cycles being in emphasised states [supermoons, eclipses] arguably Jan 1935 and Jan 2018 both show very strong potentials for extreme conditions -but not only due to the lunation cycle -but also on account of the standout planetary matches featuring the potent outer planets Pluto, Neptune, Uranus and Jupiter which frequently feature in groups as effective agents when extreme conditions arise.

The explanation will repeatedly argue that the degree position 27 [and its trigger angle 12] in particular [ with orbs of allowance allowing for 25-29 degrees -often coupled with 10-14 degrees ] commonly, consistently, repeatedly arise in times of extreme environmental conditions.

Analysis of these energies to determine themes is what is undertaken after looking at the consistently recurring mathematics and the planetary indicators.This is achieved by understanding the type of conditions likely to arise under the prevailing forces - what those forces are and what type of energy they are expressing..

Intense destructive heat in relevant zones - eg more typically southern hemisphere summer - as a pattern was locked in at New Year 2018 and posted on this site as a forecast for New Zealand - using just these methods - no meteorological modelling -  in a dedicated post of December 6

It is highly unlikely that standard forecasters will give an ounce of credence to this method but the truth remains that it works...consistently... for the past, the present or the future..if you know what to look for.

The cycle in question is the multiple matches between Jan-Feb 1999 and Jan Feb 2018.
The conclusion reached:
Even without detailing full fine analysis it is clear that the turbulent forces will barrel on, combining and amplifying through January 2018 and through February 2018 with severe weather storms and severe environmental structural collapse events including avalanches, landslides, tectonic plate movement all potentials particularly through February.

Governments of course are conscious of the influx because they are alert to incoming finance and the in-flow to local economies -but effectively they are asleep at the wheel when it comes to preserving socio-economic conditions that enhance a balanced society.

Can't Afford to Live as a creeping condition across the globe speaks of a gross imbalance that positions money as the only factor under consideration. Can't Afford to Live means people increasingly having to relocate out of known environments, abandoning employment, losing social and family contexts in which they have lived their lives. Masses of people unable to continue meeting ever climbing costs -not only in the real estate sector -whether buying, leasing or renting - but also including local taxes, transport costs, food costs - the overall general cost of living becoming increasingly unmanageable in proportion to income in a way that has not been seen in recent history in first world nations outside of periods of economic depression.

The consequence of such major socio-economic re-positioning is that whole sectors of society operating on low or fixed incomes - the working poor, the unemployed, the ill, disabled, many in the creative arts, temporary workers, part-time workers are pushed to the fringes, out of cities, out of sight.

This is so reminiscent of life in the Medieval Period -unsurprisingly Game of Thrones and similar era dramas are part of contemporary popular culture. The hierarchy from royals down to peasants operated similarly to a caste system [still existing in India]

It seems in the new millennium life is edging close and closer to the Old World model. More than 30 million people are entrapped in slavery -despite it being illegal - and it is now more profitable than ever due to the prevalence of people engaged in the sexual slavery of women and children.

Essentially it is a battle between governments and corporates that has to be fought -rather than governments being bought - if there is to be any reversal of the very ugly trends that are gaining a foothold.

As an observing astrologer the writing on the wall translates into considering the contemporary influences which correspond with energies of power and control.

The usual suspects in this category are the planets Pluto and Saturn and their corresponding zodiac expressions Scorpio and Capricorn.

Since 2008 the energy we call Pluto has been expressed in the areas of life related to the energy of Capricorn.

Pluto is a slow, deep acting force which brings about change at the most fundamental level - often through sheer annihilation - then something new has to arise from the remnants.

Pluto stays in Capricorn until 2024 -so we are past the half-way point but much more is to come before this process of Capricornian change is even clear to the everyday person.

Capricorn

The ideal function of Capricornian energy in a family is the presence of a functional adult provider-father figure, mentoring, supporting wife and family in their well-being and outer-wordly successes.

Government was formed using this template: to manage the well-being and outer-wordly success of citizens en masse through laws and regulations that allow for adequate standard of living -such as food provisions, housing and work being available or achievable - as well as being responsible for all of the critical infrastructure - roads, sanitation, banking etc - all of which enables citizens to operate happily and effectively in their environment.

Capricorn at its best is protective, supportive, responsible, careful, prudent, sensible and nurturing in that fatherly way where the task of looking after is accepted as a decent duty to society.

Somewhere along the road in recent decades Capricorn lost its way - at a fork in the road the energy split in such a way that the positive purpose of Capricorn got lost. Most likely after the loosening up period of the sixties.

Unleashed from the controlling atmosphere of societal disapproval more and more fathers became happier leaving the children of their unions for their mother to raise alone. Seeds were sown for the breakdown of the traditional structure of the family.

Economic changes then tightened the squeeze on many families so earning enough on one wage became too difficult -so even when parents remained together their absence from the home led to children growing up unraised .

The two processes of change - one within the family and one in outer society involving economic management under successive governments -  have steadily eroded the conditions in personal family life and in the degree to which nations are being managed effectively in order to support and nurture citizens in general.

Imbalance is the most relevant keyword here -families in contemporary city life are experiencing a type of imbalance in Capricorn energy - a deficit -where nurturing and support, time and engagement or connection have been replaced by either an abandonment of responsibility, a hands-off, possibly liberal or leave-them-to-it approach regarding the task of child-rearing [increasing calls for schools to do the work of parents is one example] - or swinging between the extremes -resorting to excessive control, restriction, punishment - the tough parent mode, struggling to manage a situation that has lost its focus.

Parents are not meant to be friends or jailers of their children. Their roles are providers, nurturers, guides and helpers -within a structured context of clear boundaries and consequences.

Society equally enters meltdown when governments and local authorities fail to recognise their reason for existence.

Both the private and societal domains of Capricorn lost their way due to the lure or pressure of money.

Capricorn is a worrying energy, keenly aware of security -and threats to that wellbeing. Anxiety about survival, the future, financial pressures is just as much a part of the picture leading to the double-income family as it is to the reason why the governments-as-business model of operation has become the norm ahead of government-as-social-agency.

As soon as business ethics began to permeate the operation of governments -not purely for efficiency - but eventually for cost-saving and profit the distortion of fundamental Capricornian values was underway.

Under the business model of government people are spreadsheet data.

A very cut-throat energy is inherent in this model - and accordingly social services like hospitals and welfare are readily scaled back, standards degraded, benefits reduced. This is tough-love Capricorn. User-pays. You're on your own..irrespective of your condition..survival of the fittest. 

Austerity is a key tough-love Capricornian ethic. And  protests in different nations have been sustained in recent years over harsh government policies aimed at distancing the State from the wellbeing of its citizens.

Yes we, globally, as a species, in this era, are only halfway through this process of getting back to sanity regarding the fundamentals of human existence.

At the start of 2018 another player enters the arena.

The planet Saturn..effectively the boss of Capricorn,...meaning the planet energy is the source of what is delivered through Capricorn people or representations such as government business, corporations.

Saturn is a faster mover than Pluto and has a 3 year period to do its thing in the sign that applies during its location along its orbital path.

And very late in 2017 Saturn entered Capricorn -effectively a double-whammy period till late 2020 when the best of Capricorn can arise out of the debris and destruction created by Pluto in Capricorn.

In some ways in some contexts Pluto since 2008 has wrecked families, wrecked communities and wrecked whole societies or nations. Did anyone say America ?

The dismembered parts lay all around, the ash and the artefacts...but Pluto and Saturn are both rebuilders and with Saturn now energising this drama this pair of power players can effectively work together to undo so much of the mess and annihilation.

At its best the Saturn in Capricorn era puts in place guidelines, regulations, laws which are protective which serve the common good, which pull people back into line where they have strayed off course, which support and nurture people until they learn enough self-management to be able to detach from the trainer wheels.

The same conditions are set to be applied in family life as well as in the territories of local and state governments regarding how their jurisdictions are managed to better reflect more functional and balanced communities.

Saturn fully leaves Capricorn at the end of 2020 and by then the clawing back of authority and control over business and corporate factions should be evident.

Already calls have arisen for megacorps to pay their fair share of taxes and this aspect is highly consistent with Saturn & Capricorn at work - regulating businesses in a fair and collectively beneficial manner instead of those giants being left to call the shots.

The new business "disruptors" like Airbnb and Uber have in many contexts been able to come like cowboys into the Wild West - on the one hand providing competitive services but at the same time causing many flow-on issues - like no accommodation left for locals wanting to live in Barcelona - and the huge number of infuriatingly unskilled drivers operating a taxi service. 

Not playing by the rules is one of the complaints lodged against both companies and under current influences the landscape could become more challenging for any "wild-child" companies who are in it just for the buck.

Scorpio is noted for its link to Pluto -the natural zodiac expression of Pluto's energies. During most of 2018 Scorpio -which carries Pluto's themes of power and control - will be expressed courtesy of the super-sized planet Jupiter.

With Jupiter in Scorpio until early November 2018  some people will experience a big power surge. or great sense of empowerment .

This combination of Pluto Saturn and Jupiter - all about power and control -some of that in public arenas, some inside private lives - is already visible by mid January 2018-so the shift in energy has been Fast -from hidden to exposed -in great numbers in a short time frame.

The #MeToo and #TimesUp movements arose out of abuse of power and the time being right to call that out. One aspect of power is money and another is obviously sex. The physical or bodily use of power to control and assault another person sexually -often with financial/or employment -related coercion - has had global coverage -amidst some backlash from those still mentally linked to a primordial era.

Time literally is up on this type of behaviour now that these 3 planets are working in synergy to call out the behaviour, confront and disempower the abusers.

This process empowers people who may have seen themselves mainly as victims. The fact that it has historically been predominantly men abusing their power primarily over women says a lot about a collective power shift going on changing the landscape in gender politics - and this is the work of the slow moving energy of Pluto -so expect more to come.

Abusing others physically or sexually reveals a lack of clear comprehension of personal space as well as what is appropriate and what isn't. The need to learn boundaries as adults is essential for all of us who did not have that awareness instilled by proper parenting. It used to be called self-control or good manners or being polite.

Saturn and Capricorn give us the signals to learn all of these values which are fundamental to self-management -even if just by observing the heights from which we can fall when we get it terribly wrong.

So even being an abuser has links back to this Capricorn story of how families are intended to prepare us to be decent humans -and if the processes don't happen then the risk factors increase for us unformed people and whoever we try and engage with.

The lack of boundaries also permeates thinking in the corporate and business sector due to their fantasy of perpetual growth. In the body that's called cancer and it threatens to kill the host.

The gross imbalances adhered to by the big players in their pursuit of ever-increasing profits -such as the Bad Daddy conduct of hiring near slave labour in emerging economies to produce luxury goods and increase company revenue. Giving Back is the ethic that big business can adopt to restore balance.

Governments, corporates and big business can redeem themselves by completely rethinking their model of operation so that they operate in keeping with the best Capricornian principles -not simply the most self-protective and financially ambitious - adopting Good Daddy policies such as sharing the space with the whole community family - instead of pricing people out of town.

The private model is Dads who have a Den or Man Cave or Garage that's their own extra space show their dominance expressed in occupying or controlling more of the family real estate than anyone else.

Occupying real estate takes us back to the New Kingdoms which have increasingly been in development across the world's cities - occupying meaning those with control over land and values to such a degree that governments have so far been unable or too entangled with business to curb the process of transformation from much more egalitarian communities into much more elitist, privileged and wealthy residents contrasted with many more strugglers and the rise of beggars in the first world.

Under Saturn and Pluto influences particularly over the period until 2020 the opportunity arises for governments - as well as families in their private sphere - to take back control and restore balance and for corporates to reclaim their humanity.

Failing that much greater social disintegration is likely to be evident and conditions more extreme until the necessary corrections are made to reflect the essence of benign Capricorn as essential to our shared existence.

With global eyes almost continually glued on America thanks to the exceptionally bizarre conduct of President Donald Trump who continues to exceed our worst expectations with his no-holds-barred style of political rhetoric - the spotlight will surely fall brightest on him in the lunar month from 14 January and the formal process of impeachment, long discussed could at last be the outcome.

Latest news is that another vote on impeachment of the President is to be called [date not disclosed] -despite reticence from within the Democrats

Aside from America, any political environment that is ready to blow gets a huge dose of magma from beneath so this is likely to be a newsy month to gladden the hearts of political junkies.

Personal lives are not exempt - power abuse is being called to account in waves of activity in recent years [since Pluto & Uranus began their square-off in 2012] and the current #MeToo and #TimesUp movements are reaching a level of momentum not seen for decades in the contexts of how women collectively are treated by men collectively. 

Saturn entering Capricorn has solidified the restructuring element in the power base - bringing the issues further into the mainstream, normalising the issues, to be no longer seen as the gripes of a few fringe-dwellers. And this is not a blip on a screen, this uprising by women is set to strengthen not be subdued by backlash or non-engagement. Thunderbirds are Go.

The patriarchy operating through male-dominated gender politics is a hierarchical system which is under pressure to change, adjust, to restructure, to be reborn

President Oprah Winfrey - social justice warrior

Oprah Winfrey stole the show at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards in her acceptance speech for the Cecil B DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award and what she said hit a resounding note  given the recent addition of the TimesUp movement to the list of causes a social warrior can espouse -and make no mistake -Oprah is essentially a social warrior intent on justice for all.

But what about President Winfrey?

Murmurings have likely been around awhile before the January 2018 ignition provided for the possibility of Oprah running for US President in November 2020.

The notion is way beyond whimsy or dreamland when you look at what Oprah has on board.

Time and place are the intersections of destiny. In some contexts it's simply called karma. And the future can be written. Can be viewed. Can be anticipated.

A black woman President would be a phenomenal shift in the landscape of American politics..and this is where things are at in the reckonings of astrologers who see the accumulation of energies building in the political sign Capricorn..with the associated planet Saturn now in the picture since Dec 22 2017, joining Pluto and soon to converge with Jupiter.

But it has been the Uranus in Aries era since 2011 that has worked alongside Pluto in Capricorn as a demolition team at work around the globe sweeping away old power bases old regimes old networks -installing Wild Cards, preferencing the unlikely the unexpected. 

Uranus has the credentials to do all this & at a very fundamental, far reaching level when in collusion with Pluto. So the process has been underway, often out of sight for several years before it's fruits have become increasingly in view.

Looking at the birth chart for Oprah her Aquarian Sun-Venus is really tight with Saturn in Scorpio. All at effectively 9 degrees. This degree is very activated by anything at 23-24-25 degrees.

The disempowerment experiences delivered by Saturn in Scorpio drive her Aquarian passion for social justice.

Her chart has Pluto at 24, Mars at 23, lunar nodal axis and Chiron at 23 - these factors amplify and reinforce the fundamental essence of her personality as stated above. She understands pain, abuse, unfairness. She has had to transform, remake, rebuild herself to overcome the wounds of abuse. 

This is the mountain she had to climb in this lifetime and she has reached that inner goal while also manifesting incredible achievements on the world stage through her media company - which gives back and delivers highly on the scale of empathy and compassion.

Extreme Environmental Events: how The Profiler predicts

 The Profiler regarding indicators able to forecast extreme weather & other extreme events.

Observations since that first posting have resulted in several other articles published only on this blog exploring continual validation of the activation of a particular range of degree positions being in effect as precursor indicators of extreme weather and extreme environmental events which are not in the category of weather.

Weather as referenced is observable in the form of storm condition extremes of wind, rain, flood. Environmental events may arise in the form of earthquakes, landslides, avalanches, volcanic eruptions, nuclear events.

Mass evacuations of people are a consistent theme in synchrony with a high percentage of the extreme events.

As repeatedly stated the combination of planetary positions in the range 25-29 degrees is highly relevant and this relevance refers back to the current slow-moving position of the centre of our galaxy being at 27 Sagittarius

The significant activating points are shown at the four mutable signs at 27 and their midpoints which fall in the four fixed signs.

Initially this combination seemed the most relevant -the mutable-fixed mixture where several transiting factors joined forces within the wider effective range of 25-29 and 10-14 degrees.

Further observations reveal that there is not a sign limitation, instead -aside from the 25-29 degree mutables arguably having the strongest capacity to funnel the mutable 27 SAG galactic centre [GC] - the dominant factor could generally be purely mathematical.

This means that it is relevant to look for periods when the 25-29 and 10-14 ranges in any signs are bundled together and to anticipate that in those time frames that extreme forces are funnelled into earth's atmosphere  - possibly in the manner of tidal forces which permeate the different strata:  air sea land.

Considering different eras -current and historic it is evident that lunations and eclipses love this range of degrees and can repeatedly occur in this range over several months.
Though eclipses carry a much longer energetic effect of at least 6 months compared to the standard lunar month of a full or new moon, all of these solar-lunar positions can be seen to feature in significant environmental events - but the lunation sets themselves -New Moon-Full Moon and Lunar-Solar Eclipses are not the full story -so it is simply mental laziness when critics say full moons or eclipses  or solar-lunar events in general have no statistical connection to major environmental and weather events. They are failing to use holistic analysis, failing to look at the larger array connected to the solar-lunar event. Only astrologers use this type of bigger picture methodology when examining natural forces.

It is when  - as often found - the lunations/eclipses occur in this specific range along with factors such as any of the slower moving [big effect] outer planets from Jupiter to Pluto; the lunar nodes; Chiron.
When 2 or 3 of these factors add to the lunation there is a strong picture.
Chiron being very slow-moving has hovered in the last 5 degrees of Pisces since June 2016, progressing almost to the end of Pisces but with frequent retrogrades, then passes 29 degrees right at the end of January 2019.
In effective terms in recent years Chiron in Pisces activates the GC continually in the period June 2016-Feb 2019.
Saturn covered the same range of degrees in Sagittarius in  the period Feb 2017-June 2017, Nov 2017-mid Dec 2017
Neptune in Pisces came into the frame in March-Oct 2016 - occupying 10-12 degrees -progressing then retrograding over this narrow range. Then covering 10-14 degrees in 2017 -back & forth.
In the period Jan 2018 to Jan 2019 Neptune will again just cover 11-14 degrees, maintaining a card in play for whenever the lunations or fellow travellers converge in the 10-14 or 25-29 degree range.

A case can also be made for including the positions in a tight orb to the target range eg 15 degrees, 0 degrees - especially if at eclipses - as these have the strong energy of the cardinal/seasonal points and energy shifts and they are within orb of the target degrees 14 and 29.  24 degree eclipses are also included

Observers of the data will notice the frequency of eclipses - often as an early event in the set or at the end. So an irregular connection to the eclipse cycle could be involved in these recurrent degree pairings.
Generally 4 paired sets within the target range occur within a year but this increases in 2028, 2029, 2030

Cardinal eclipses in the range 24-29 seem to have dominated in the C20.
The C21 is trending [2007-2030] towards more dominance of Mutable eclipses in that same range and in the total of 9-15, 24-29 degree positions.

2018 is selected for a contemporary example due to the year beginning with a very relevant Supermoon.
The moon at closest perigee to earth for the year provides conditions that many observe to play a role in disturbing earth's air, land and sea tides.

Critical degrees are emphasised in this chart using exact full moon on January 2 at London.

Analysis including the usually overlooked and incorrectly designated "minor" angles semisquare [45 degrees of separation and sesquiquadrate -135 degrees ] is fundamental but again not enough.

Extending this system and demolishing the artificial boundaries of traditional thought - any factors 15 degrees apart are seen as connected and mutually activated and these points play a major role equal to that accorded to conjunctions,squares, oppositions:

A Supermoon +Neptune at 11 degrees drags in 25-26-27 degrees - 4 of those appear in the midpoint grid

Extreme events tend to indicate a gathering up of as many big players as possible in the range Saturn to Pluto and Chiron often puts in a showing.

This intensity of complex entanglement delivers the typical picture of severe environmental disturbance.
The surface layer visible - the individual locations of planets and points is not always the standout indicator.
This event does not -as often found - have multiple elements bunched in the late degrees 24-29 - but deeper analysis using fine angles and midpoints reveals the amount of related forces capable of delivering an equally potent outcome.

 January-February 2018 mimics the eclipses of January-February 1999 - 11 Leo 27 Aquarius - though in 1999 the lunar was penumbral and the solar was Annular and 2018 has a total lunar and a partial solar.
Therefore similar environmental conditions are anticipated
What is intriguing at time of writing [Jan 6] is that heavy snow, fierce winds and rain have both featured under the Jan 2 Supermoon - in Ireland, UK, western Europe, the US

New Zealand. The northern nations named theirs Storm Eleanor and Storm Grayson Cyclone Bomb. Conditions happened so fast in NZ their was no time for a name.

With the conditions closely matching 1999 in terms of the heavy northern freeze and snowfall the risk of avalanche has to be on the table as a red alert for February 2018.
Two further lunar events lead into February:
the January 17 New Moon, [27 degrees]
the January 31/Feb1 full moon total lunar eclipse [11 degrees]
next the mid February
partial solar eclipse on the 15th at 27 degrees.

Even without detailing full fine analysis it is clear that the turbulent forces will barrel on, combining and amplifying through January 2018 and through February 2018 with severe weather storms and severe environmental structural collapse events including avalanches, landslides, tectonic plate movement all potentials particularly through February.

World's deadliest avalanche; tens of thousands of fatalities over a large geographic area. Whole townships were buried.
The prediction system is applied using the target degrees 25-29 and 10-14 and using tight orb allowance at the boundaries [anything very close to the outer side of 10,14,25 or 29 is captured if a link exists to a primary range factor.

Pluto position at 24 matches MC/IC

Avalanches in the northern Alps of Europe February 1999
Taconnaz event at Haute-Savoie France saw 62 residents killed on Feb 11.
A forewarning eclipse on January 31 1999 at 11 degrees also had Jupiter and Saturn both at 27 degrees; Uranus at 12, Pluto at 10. All these positions activate the GC and are themselves tightly entangled with resultant synergy of forces.
In early February Sun and Mercury reaching 12-13 degrees joined forces with Uranus.
Conditions were in place with the addition of Mercury reaching 27 degrees on Feb 11.


1999 Galtur Austria -a late January Atlantic storm resulted in heavy snow in the Alps. A time provided for this significant avalanche event - [30-40 fatalities, mostly tourists] - in Galtur Austria on 23 Feb 1999 allows a full chart view showing Saturn at the MC/IC axis and Uranus at the AC/DC axis -enough in themselves to portend a destructive event.
Saturn at 29 degrees is the single factor in the high target degrees but is amplified in power by its position and 29 is the activated position for Uranus at 14 degrees thereby opening the flow between these 2 equally strongly positioned on chart axes.
Mars-Pluto-Moon-Uranus sit at 9-10-11-14 degrees

Further examples includes the extreme weather experienced in the periods 1911 and 1912.

Through this whole period Pluto was moving very slowly through the final degrees of Gemini -26-27-28 and would have been especially strengthened by any lunation in that range. 

Autumn 1911 saw the start of a 15/28, 14/27, 13/27, 13/27, 13/28, 13/28, 12/28,12,27 sequence, including 2 eclipse sets extending from Sept 1911 till the April 1912 solar eclipse.

The US regard this as the 1912 Cold Wave
