As we all should know, lyrics - whether found in songs, poems or any form of free-flowing creative writing, are in the mind of the beholder, so perhaps it is unsurprising that an American woman writing on a blog feministing chose to configure this song as a racist insult.
Huge leap, and a rather twisted take from the position held by Lorde herself on where her head is at.
This young woman is VERY aware, very brave and very intent on presenting another way of being.
If Verónica Bayetti Flores thinks misogynist violence and the worshipping of all of the worst excesses of white culture found commonly in black rap lyrics & video content are worth defending then she belongs in the past.

 
New Zealanders are known for being progressive. 

2013 appearance on US tv's Ellen -Lorde is on a rocking roll.
With it's rousing collective spirit, this song has very much the quality of an anthem, a critique coming from an emerging adult, about the very contemporary zeitgeists  money & power
